I've read on the boards about people purchasing pins on clearance at the outlet centers in Orlando to use for traders. Which places typically have these??

Thanks.

premier store near you they carry over stock and discontinued items in there
stores..........
Recently they have had the Millineum pins there....We have one in St. Augustine, FL
and there are those in Orlando....
Good luck

You can also try Ebay although many have mixed feelings about that
or try cheappins, going24-7, they are some of the sites that have DPins...

The only "discounted" pins they had at the Character Warehouse last Monday were only 39¢ higher that their origianl cost at TDS. Original list price was $4.00. MKC discounts allowed you to buy them for $3.60. After 1/24/00 all were pulled from TDS and taken to parks, where they were recarded as "retired" and priced at $6.00. Now they are $3.99. Where the bargain is I don't know. Probably some MBA had an idea. These pins, of course, are valid traders.

Chesire...when I went the first time which is a while ago I paid 1.99 for the pins
then all of a sudden when I went back the price was higher....

I have a secret place in Orlando where I get some of the Monagram pins for $1.99. I have never had a problem trading them, in fact the CM's love them. I see them alot on lanyards, but still the CM's grab them up.
I hate to share my secret with anyone, but if you promise not to tell anyone I will let you in on it. I just hope they still have some when I get there.
Go to the Eckert drug stores in Orlando. Look for the Mickey stuff and you will find a rack filled with Disney monagram pins. Make sure you don't grab any of the Universal characters. although I have seen a few Tweetys on lanyards in the past.
My two favorite Eckerts are the one near Universal drive. A pain to get to, but it's pins, I go anywhere for pins. And there is also one on US -192 West. That one is a little tougher to get to with the construction but worth it.

at one of the outlet centers they have the millennium disney store and the 2000 dancer pin for $3.99, but, one outlet center sells the 2000 dancer pin for 99 cents.....the only thing is, if you get these for trade, recently, the cast members have been VERY strick with only having one of a type of pin on their lanyard....so if they already have one on there, some won't do a trade...just and fyi:crazy:
