Where to Flop at Dolphin When We Arrive??

My wife and I are staying at Dolphin in early Nov. without the kids, and we'll get there about 12:30 pm on a Friday. We'd like to kick back at a pool, have a drink with an umbrella in it and rest up for PI that night. Is there a choice of pools or someplace mellow you can suggest? I doubt we'll need to sleep, but some deep relaxation would be nice. Thanks for any ideas offered.

The lap pool at the Dolphin is great for what you want. There's a pool bar & they even have waiters to take your drink order while you lay in your lounge chair by the pool. There's a sand beach right next to this pool that's always been very peaceful when we've used it. There is also a pool by the Swan that has a pool bar-& a few hammocks to really relax in . The grotto pool is beautiful but will probably be too cold in November, it was pretty chilly last March. They do have nice hot tubs that would be great for relaxing. Have a great vacation!

The Dolphin pool bar, I forget the name, has some of the best food in WDW. It was fresh, well prepared and very tasty. When we went back in Jan., DH had to have a night to himself to watch a football playoff game. We were staying at the dolphin, so he had a variety of choices including the nearby ESPN club (I think that's the one) along the boardwalk. When I came back from the visit to Epcot I was shocked to find him at the Dolphin pool bar. He said it was everything he needed. Peaceful, excellent service, great drinks and very few people to distract him from the game.

That area is also nice to hang out on the beach and watch the lagoon and boats. The whole area is fantastic. I think it will fit your needs perfectly.

the hammocks under the palm trees on the small beach or by the swan pool are soooooo relaxing . You can get drinks by dolphin or swan pools and bring them to your spot.
