Where to find...

a machine that makes appliques and iron-on patches? I would like to make my own so I figure I would look into buying a machine. But I have no idea of where to look for them or what there is out there. Does anyone own one & can they give me any insight on what to look for? Thanks!

I think that is the kind of machine I just got from Dh's GM (she went blind and I am th eonly crafty one). I feel so bad I have been so busy this summer I haven't even cracked it open yet.

Okay, my machine is called Bernina. It is an older model (at least 14 years I figure) but it does blind applique, circular embroidery, eyelet embroidery, tons of heirloom sewing stitches, monograms, french handsewing, and sew on.

I wouuld check at a sewing/vaccum store. At least that is where they carry the specially stuff around here.

Hey PaulaSue! Thanks! I think I should go check out my local craft store. I don't think we have a vacuum store around here anymore. We used to have on in Pompton Lakes but I think they are gone now.
