Where is whole milk available in the parks? On our two previous trips to DW, LO was still on BM or formula, so we haven't had to deal with finding whole cows milk yet. We'll probably eat primarily at quick service type restaurants. Is it found pretty much throughout each park? Thanks!

If I remember right, I believe all I ever found was 2% milk. You may want to check at one of the coffee shops. I used to have to buy milk from there as my little ones refuse to drink cold milk!

Thanks for the info. I guess we should see if LO will drink 2% before we leave for DL, or we will probably need to purchase some from the grocery store and take it with us into the parks.

I think you'll find that your LO will drink 2% milk with no problems. It tastes the same, just is less "thick" than whole milk. Definitely try it out first, but I don't think you'll have a problem.

My 14 month old drinks whole milk at home, but he gets whatever they have (usually 1%) at restaurants when we're out. He doesn't even notice the difference. And a few days of lower fat milk won't matter nutritionally.

Thanks! I wasn't sure how much of a difference there was between whole and 2%. I think whole milk tastes terrible so DH and I drink skim milk and LO gets the whole milk. I'll buy a quart tomorrow and see if she's okay with it.

My DD is 16M and doesn't have a huge problem with even 1 percent in a pinch :) I bet it'll be fine. I'd DEF keep some whole milk in the room for breakfast or dinner or something because they need the fat from it..but a few glasses of less fat won't hurt your LO :)

We could not find it in the resort. DS went to ABC store..or maybe it was 7-11..to get some whole milk and we kept it in the fridge at the villas. At the time, for some reason, the 2% hit DGD stomach wrong, although now she's fine with it.

My doctor had told me that one week off of whole milk wouldn't do any damage. I would just do what a pp suggested and use whole milk in the room and then 2 percent at the parks.
