Where to find Thumper!!!

Does anyone know if there is a place anywhere in the world to meet and greet thumper from bambi?

You can meet Thumper at 'Camp Minnie-Mickey' in Animal Kingdom

Actually, yes. In Animal Kingdom--Camp Minnie Mickey. We've seen Thumper and his girlfriend (name?) several times there. The lines aren't usually long, either.

Wow! You really can learn something new everyday In all of my visits, I have never seen Thumper. He was my sons favorite and we actually had a stuffed animal that he took everywhere when he was a baby/toddler. Actually we purchased two identical becasue he didn't function well without his Thumper. Yep, lost them both in the same week...That was no fun.

He's 18 now and has adjusted nicely but this will be a great surprise when we go back as a family. (He still has a Bambi & Thumper baby quilt that my grandmother made for him when he was born. It is stored away but he mentions how much it means to him since we lost the stuffed animals )

Camp Minnie Mickey is where we found Thumper & his girlfriend. They didn't have the little mini pavillians like mickey has, he was located near the end of the trail accross from the little covered pavillions the "more popular" characters have. Was located right in the sun, no shade and no real line, we waited for one family and then it was our turn.

FYI - last year we also caught Rafiki in that area and I think that Chip and Dale had a place too (but not 100%). Just before you got to Camp Mickey Minnie there was a MnG with Meeko and Pocahontas right before you turned right into Camp. One other helpful bit - while Mickey and Minnie didn't rotate on our visits there Goofy, Pluto, Donald, and Daisy did. We were able to time it so that we got Daisy's autograph walked out of the hut and back into line to catch Donald. If you aren't doing a character breakfast like Chef Mickey's or Cape May, it's a great way to get the Big 6 out of the way. The characters were dressed for safari pre-Thanksgiving and had on holiday attire when we were there post-Thanksgiving.

AFAIK Flower has never been a meetable charecter in the WDW parks.

We learned best time to meet Thumper and Miss Bunny is early in the morning. About 10:30 or so. Characters usually don't come out until 10. When we met them, there were no lines at all.

We leave in a few weeks and now I am even more excited to go to AK just to see Thumper. He was always my favorite. In fact around here at home when I see a rabbit, I refer to it as Thumper.
