Where to exchange Skylanders

DS received a few skylander figures that he already has from his Aunt. We are not sure where they were purchased (his Uncle has very bad cancer and we don't want to bother them with this). While we are most appreciative of the time and effort they took in sending this to DS and we know that they wanted to give him something that he really wants, we would just like to take the characters into a store and be able to exchange them for other characters that he does not have. Does anybody have any ideas of where a good place would be to do that? TRU? Target? We are not trying to do anything shady, just get ones that he does not have. We don't have any receipts.

Any advice?

I'd think walmart or meijer would be better bets than target or TRU.

I would say ealmart. Target is AWFUL if you do not havr a receipt.

TRU is very strict on their no receipt no exchange policy but Target & Walmart will give you a store credit. Walmart has the most flexible return policy but they are very apt to be very picked over and have a very limited supply. Target has a $75/year limit on no receipt returns but otherwise they are very reasonable about returns. You could also try Best Buy or GameStop. I'm not sure how they'll be as their return flexibility varies from store to store.

Another Walmart vote. At least around here, the week after Christmas our Walmart stores will return any amount without a receipt as long as you have your driver's license.

Oh, yeah, they will give you a gc for the amount. If you can wait for better stock you can keep it for when they get more in.

Thanks for the tips - sounds like we'll make a trip to Walmart. I hadn't thought of them! I appreciate the help!
