Where to eat...?

Here's the situation...

We will be spending the day at Animal Kingdom and the park closes at 5. We need a place to have dinner that night (table service). We don't want to do Tusker House again (although we like it a lot) and YnY has just been OK the last few times we ate there.

We will driving home that night, so going to another park or back to the MK resorts might be a little too involved, but we'd like a nice dinner.

Does anyone have any suggestions for a great TS restaurant that's not too far of a drive from AK and also easily accessible (parking etc)? We were considering Sanaa at AKL, but I'm not sure about the type of food (although we loved Jiko) and Boma is booked.

Any ideas would be great! Thanks :thumbsup2

Pepper Market at Coronado Springs is on your way out. We ate there once a few years back and it was good. It has regular American cuisine, compared to Sanaa or Boma (we have always been afraid to eat at those places because we have some very picky eaters). You could always stop in at DTD too if you are driving yourself, it would be faster because you wouldn't be dependant on Disney transportation.

Don't be afraid of Sanaa! We were, but ate there anyway and it was one of the best meals of the trip. The sustainable fish entree was very tasty, but not "strange" or spicy at all. My kids had delicious pizza on Naan bread. The restaurant itself is beautiful, and if it is still daylight, seeing the animals outside while you eat is the icing on the cake.

Go for it!

Thanks! After reading a lot of good reviews, we went ahead and booked Sanaa. Although I'm pretty adventurous when it comes to eating, I'm not a huge fan of Indian food, but there were a lot of things on the menu that sounded good. And if the kids can get pizza, they'll be happy. :)

Thanks again for the reply - looking forward to trying it out!
