Where to eat

Is there any place in the Fort to get a Buger & Frys? I am not a big eater and Trails end is a waste of $$$ for me.

The nearest place is to take a boat to either Wilderness Lodge or the Contemporary, both places have counter service with hamburgers and fries.

Don't know about burgers and fries specifically, but Crockett's Tavern has lighter fair than The Trail's End.

if you are camping at the fort and you have a little extra storage space in your RV.....

grab one of these suckers... http://www.rvtoyoutlet.com/c-outside-rv-010/p-RV0085.html they are awesome. hook right on the outside of the pop up where the stove would go and connect to propaine line that runs from the main tank on the camper.

but if you are more budget minded, these http://www.walmart.com/catalog/product.do?product_id=895622 OR these http://www.walmart.com/catalog/product.do?product_id=1146797 do just as well....

just swing by the store of your choice on the way into FW and grab some grill meat and supplies and grill it up.

If you are looking for a cheap/good burger and don't mind going off site for it....try a sonic, checkers or steak&shake. there are several locations right outside of the main gates.
