Any ideas!

We (me, DH, DD, DS, DF & DMIL) will be going to Orlando for 3 weeks over Christmas. I would like to plan a few lunch or dinners not bother which, ideally with child interaction to keep DS entertained (he's 7). Have already done, Wispering Canyon, Ohana's, Prime Time Cafe, is there any more I could try like these places? Not to keen on the food at Rainforest Cafe and would rather stay clear of the character meals (unless we are booking it for DS). Anywhere in Disney will be great or if anyone has any recommendations for places off site that will be good too.

Also it will be my Birthday whilst we are there any suggestions of where just me and my husband could go to eat, it doesn't have to be in Disney. We have already been to Blue Zoo, Flyng Fish (Yum), Spoodles and Wolfgang Pucks. Would be happy to go back to all of them but would also like to try somewhere new.

I cannot recommend Jiko's highly enough so I think that would be lovely for your b'day.

Regarding your son, I'm not that keen on the food but Sci Fi Dine Inn or 50's Prime Time both have a little "something".

Whispering Canyon and 50s Prime Time Cafe are the best of the breed. There aren't any other options that come close to what those offer.

Have been asking about a "new" place on I-Drive called TexasdeBrazil & so far it has been getting rave reviews on the US site. You also can register on their web-site & they send you e-mail offers, looking at the pictures it is definately a place for carnivores & not herbivores!! But then that's why we have eyes at the front & sharp teeth!! :rotfl2: www.texasdebrazil.com

I think I will try and get a PS for Jiko's.

Scooby Doo - thanks for your suggestion but i'm a veggie and since it is for my birthday i'll give it a miss. But i'll keep it in mind for if we are ever over there when it's hubbies birthday.

V677 - We have been to the Tepanyki and have to agree the food and entertainment was very good. Thanks for the birthday wishes and I hope you have a great time at Pop Century.
