We are going to Louisville, KY next month to the Frazier museum and Science museum with our 3 elementary aged children. We'll be spending the weekend there (staying at the Museum Hotel in this same area) and don't know where to go eat. Most of the places I've seen listed online do not look kid friendly. Is there anyone out there familiar with this area who could help? We are looking for kid friendly restaurants, ideally that we could easily walk to, and that aren't crazy $$.
Hoping someone out there can help.

How many restaurant recommendations do you need? I'm from the area and the first place that comes to mind is the Spaghetti Factory. It's over a half mile away from the museum, so I don't know that you'll want to walk to it, but it is definitely kid friendly and the food is very good. We eat there every year when we are downtown to see Sesame St Live with DD. You will also find a few good places to eat in "Fourth Street Live" (a block or so of restaurants, bars, etc) such as Hard Rock and TGIFridays. If you are willing to go further out into the city, message me and I'll give you more recommendations. Louisville is a great city with a lot to see, you'll have fun for
sure.

Spaghetti Factory is what quickly came to mind. Fourth Street Live is a good idea, I've never been there for food though. Joe's Crabshack is on the river.

I second Spaghetti Factory. My kids love eating there. Joe's Crab shack is fun as well.

Old Spaghetti Factory comes with desert also. You can get Spumoni or vanilla ice cream or a fruit bar (this is great for my kid who can't have ice cream).

OP, I would be doing a disservice if I didn't also highly recommend Wicks Pizza (on Baxter Ave). It is about 3 miles way from the museum so you would need to drive, but I can guarantee it'll be some of the best pizza you've ever had, and totally kid friendly.

Try Doc Crows Southern Smokehouse - kid friendly, casual and good drinks for the adults as well! It's 127 W Main Street near the arena.

Spaghetti Factory is great as others have said. There is also Lynn's Paradise Cafe, it is a very interesting place to visit. They have a gift shops with very funny and unique gifts and lots of things for the kids to play with and color at the table while waiting for food. They tend to get very busy on the weekends just so you know :). Hope you have a fun visit!

The first thing that came to my mind was the Spaghetti Factory too!

Lynn's Paradise is great too.... although not walking distance. The breakfast there is AMAZING!!!! :lovestruc
