We will be a WDW from 11-9 to 11-15. Since the MK will be closing at 7 on the days we will be at that park and AK will close at 5, where do you normally eat dinner? We are not doing the dining plan, and will be doing counter service for all meals except Chef Mickey's on our last morning. We will be staying at Pop Century and will not have a car and no park hopping. Are there any restaurants within walking distance of Pop? Are there any good counter service places at any of the other resorts?

Go to Downtown Disney. There are lots of places to eat there. Definately try Earl of Sandwich.

Downtown Disney is a good choice. You could also use the opportunity to check out some of the other resorts. When the MK is closing at 7, that's due to a MVMCP so transportation will still be running to and from the resorts. You can use the monorail, boats and busses to go to a different resort, eat, walk around and check out the resort, then take the transportation back to the MK and catch the bus to Pop.Here is a link to the menus over at allears. You can see what restaurants are at what resorts and see the menus.

An alternative would be to order pizza from a non-Disney place that delivers. Giordano's is excellent Chicago-style pizza. I can't remember the other places that people here have said they like, but there are several that deliver to WDW resorts.

Why not pop over to the Boardwalk area? There is Beaches and Cream, ESPN and a takeout window at Spoodles. I know not all are quite counter service but still get some good food. Or you could try World Showcase at Epcot loads of choices there if one day is to be spent at Epcot.

On our animal kingdom day we are eating at D.D. at Captain Jacks..

or as other poster said Boardwalk area for Beaches n cream, or espn. If you have a car you could also go to the all star cafe.

POFQ does have a good selection at their CS.

If you're at the MK, have dinner somewhere on the monorail loop or head over to DTD...lots of great restaurants there or explore the other hotel restaurants.

If you have a park hopper, hop over to Epcot. Eat and enjoy illuminations.
We often do that. If not, DTD or resort restaurants.
