Where to eat prior to illuminations cruise?

Any suggestions for dinner in the Boardwalk area prior to illuminations cruise? We are 4 adults and 4 teens/kids. It's our first night in WDW!

The sports bar restaurant over there sounds like just the place for your gang. I can not remember the name of it but you can not miss it. Have fun!!

You could eat at ESPN, Spoodles or the Big River Brew & Grille. Also there is a stand to buy Foot Long Hotdogs or you could buy pizza from the pizza window at Spoodles There are tables around the hotdog stand to sit and enjoy the atmosphere of the boardwalk.

I found the pizza at the window pricey -- $3.50 a slice?!?! -- but very good.

People rave about Flying Fish and Spoodles, but I've never tried 'em myself.

You could slip over to the YC/BC to try the Yachtsman's Steak House ... then walk off your meal with a 10 minute stroll over to the BW!

Or you could also try one of the restaurants at the Swan/Dolphin ... which may be even closer.

Or for something fun & casual, you could head over to Beaches & Cream at the Beach Club.
