Where to eat our own lunches in the parks?

You could also bring a blanket with you and have an actual picnic in one of the wishes FP+ areas in the Hub, though you'll be in the sun. I have this: http://www.target.com/p/outdoor-picnic-blanket-birds-multicolored/-/A-16320556 and I love using it at my local parks.

ETA: it doesn't show it in the target picture but the blanket zips up into itself to make a flat bag you can carry around http://cms.ipressroom.com.s3.amazon..._caaf12d7-23d9-4b97-a443-4df47da87b64-prv.jpg
That's. Awesome!!!

We always bring full meals in the park. We have never had a problem eating at CS tables inside and out. Never had a problem and never been told we could not eat there.

Aside from baby food/snacks, I didn't know you could bring food into the parks. This is great to know!

There is a shaded spot on Tom Sawyer Island that has picnic tables next to a little brook. We were there on a super busy day but almost everyone bypassed the island so it was pretty empty. It also seemed 10 degrees cooler due to the shade and breeze.

Wow. Talk about the epitome of rudeness. If I had bought my expensive counter service lunch and couldn't find a table to eat it at, and saw you and your cheap family eating your "full meal" that you brought in to the park at one of the tables, you can bet you will have "a problem". :)

Well, I have been there and experienced it. We went to Cosmic Rays, the only doors that were unlocked were the ones leading to the ordering area, and CMs were "guarding" if you will, the entrances to the seating areas turning everyone away who did not have a tray. DH was ordering, and my girls and I were going to get a table but we could not got to the seating area without him with our food. So in those circumstances, like I said at very busy times, people who do not have a CS meal and are eating their own food they brought in would not be allowed to have a table.

Lots of benches all over the place, low walls and even indoor areas esp in MK if you need to get out of the sun/rain. We always carry snacks or a small meal for hungry kids through the day.

Yes, I have seen that too and I *love* it! However, as long as I can easily find a place to eat my CS food I don't care about table "holders" or people picnicking at CS tables. It'll be a toss up as to whether it will be too busy around Thanksgiving. OP, if you're considering eating at a CS table just be polite and find another place if it's really busy and tables are at a premium.
