Where to Eat on My Own?

It looks like I'll be arriving at WDW several hours before the rest of my family, and that I'll be on my own for dinner on my first night. I'll be staying at the Yacht Club, so I'd like to stick pretty near there, but I'll also have a UPH, so going in to Epcot is an option. I'm torn between Le Cellier and Flying Fish. I've been to Flying Fish before, and LOVED it, but I would also lilke to try LE Cellier for the first time. Both of these are places I don't see us going to once the family arrives with all of the kids. Any suggestions?

Since you said that EPCOT is an option for you for dinner, why not try the Teppanyaki dining in Japan. They will seat you around the table/cooking station with other people, so you wouldn't feel quite so alone. The food is really good, by the way.

Debbie had a great suggestion with Teppanyaki. YOu sit with others and if the table is fun, you will have a blast.

I've done exactly what you are doing twice before. Both times I did the same thing as I had a blast. I went to the Flying Fish. The first time I sat at the bar (no ressie) and the second time I sat in front of the cooks (no ressie) and watched them while I dined. It was awesome both times. Also, both times I sat next to someone who was also alone and chatted on and off throughout the meal. Those two meals were two of the best meals I've ever had in WDW and part of the reason was just being alone for once.

I've never been to Le Cellier so I can't help you there.

I had a great solo lunch at Le Cellier a few years ago, but I've never been to Flying Fish. I'm sure you'll be fine either way. Base your choice on what you feel like eating.
