Where to eat in Epcot?

My all time favorites in Epcot are Garden Grill and Coral Reef. Garden Grill had great food, I don't know how some people complain sometimes - the food was as good as some of the better Disney restaurants, and the characters are great! Love Chip and Dale. Coral Reef was very nice, good food, and we had a table right next to the aquarium window. Other tables had a view but not the same as being right next to it. I'd request and be willing to wait for a window table (but I think they all were for 3-4 people).

We enjoyed Biergarten. DW and I liked the buffet food and the music was fun - DS liked it. We skipped Biergarten last trip, and changed our plans during our most recent trip and canceled it again... but rescheduled it for our last day in place of a late breakfast at Chef Mickey's. Glad we did. The buffet was very good... and I loved my gigantic liter of beer in a glass mug. I have a very picky DS5 but he ate apple sauce and what looked like sliced giant hot dogs.

Teppan Edo (our Japanese steakhouses at home do more and better tricks). Don't know about Akershus, my nephew ate their with his 2 girls and they liked it. With boys only, I don't do the princess meals (although DS5 met a lot of them in the parks and got kissed by 2... he tried to wipe it off, but the princess told him he can wipe off the lipstick but the kiss stays forever.....

For Magic Kingdom, I strongly suggest Crystal Palace for a lunch instead of Tony's or Plaza. If on the dining plan, it's all 1 meal credit.. but Crystal Palace isn't expensive and I think the food, service, and characters are all great. And if your children are like mine, they won't like taking time out from the rides for a boring restaurant... but Crystal Palace has Pooh, Tigger, Eeyore and Piglet!!!

Does Chefs de France still have Remy there?

Remy was there the first week of December..... Cute interaction. Thought the food there was pretty good. Tried Escargot for the first time...interesting... but probably not order again... but I can said I tried it! Cost didn't matter, we were on dining plan.

Scheduled our lunch at 1pm... so we were seated well before Remy appeared. Used the Remy times from the Steve Soares web site and the 1:40 time was accurate.

Remy appearances:
Remy 12:30, 1:40, 2:50, 5:20 PM Monday through Saturday

Thanks for the suggestion on Crystal Palace. We are spending 2 days at MK and I thought the last night we'd do Tony's...but I think the kids would like seeing the Pooh characters at Crystal Palace. I keep seeing up and down reviews of Tony's.
The reason we are doing The Plaza is b/c that day we are already doing breakfast at the Royal Table..so we wanted a cheap, yet sit down dinner. (not on the dining plan).
