So I may plans for MNSSHP were AK in the morning, nap, MK at 4 then Cali then back to MK. Thanks to the wonderful people on the boards tho I have found out that it would not be smart to try to do Cali Grill then get back to MK in time for party start at 7. So I am trying to figure out where else to eat dinner at. We could do CRT but is the dinner there good? And if we eat there since we'll see Princesses then where else should I eat breakfast at on my last day? We were planning on Akerhaus but I don't want to do 2 princess meals. I make my ADRs in the morning if they don't become the death of me :rotfl:

Depends on where you like and what you like.

If we are attending a party in the evening, I like to do is do a park in the morning, go back to the resort for a rest and then head to dinner about 4pm, as close to the park (if not in the park).

So if it is MNSSHP, then I would schedule an early dinner right at 5pm. My choices would be Crystal Palace, as this is a buffet. Buffets cover many different foods for everyone to enjoy.
Liberty Tree Tavern, a good meal as well.
Or we would do WCC at the WL. It is a easy boat ride back to MK and if eating at 5pm should be plenty of time to get back by 7pm. (I would just make sure I was to the adr early...by 15-20mins that way I am seated by adr time.)

No need to be AT the party at 4pm, as it doesn't start until 7, so it gives you wiggle room to get dinner in.

Good luck and have a great time!!

The party starts at 7PM but in the past they start letting people in around 5/530. We eat lunch at Kona Cafe at the Polynesian or Crystal Palace at 230 or 3PM and then eat a counter service meal like Pecos Bill while we wait for the parade a spot.

We've decided on the Plaza...My husband said we can stay an extra day  so I don't have to stress about squeezing in everywhere I want to eat

They let people in with just a party ticket at 4pm. :goodvibes

Plaza is a great choice! It is a must-do for us.

We don't have a set plan for the morning that we are going to MNSSHP. What I did was plan Le Cellier for lunch which we hope to eat early and then we will eat CS for dinner that night. We wanted to do LC anyway so it makes sense to do it that day. We can either grab CS at the resort and then head over for the party or grab CS at MK. Maybe a TS lunch instead of dinner would be the way to go for you too.

We're also eating at the Plaza on our MNSSHP night!

And we also decided on an extra day... just so I could fit it in all the places where I wanted us to eat! :thumbsup2

We did Ohana with a 4pm ressie and then just took the monorail back to MK for the party around 6pm. Yes they do let people in at 4pm but the halloween festivities don't start till 7pm.

You'll be there the same time as us and that is exactly why I extended too. My husband thinks it's so he can have a rest day which is true but I will probably try to squeeze in some park time on that rest day...haha.

We made the ultra HUGE mistake of doing MNSSH the evening after we DROVE for 10.5 hours & our family flew in from CA. So needless to say, even though we were SOOOO hyper with excitement, it hit us all about 8pm. I'll NEVER do that again. We wasted a great evening...we were exhausted and didn't stay late at all. That being said, we ate at Columbia Harbour House and we all loved it. We ate upstairs, nice & cozy and our favorite CS in MK hands down. :thumbsup2

Haha!! :lmao:

I couldn't decide among 'Ohana, Kona, & Garden Grill. And I was really agonizing over it! One day, I texted DH at work & said, "I have a solution. If we add a day, we can fit everything in." Surprisingly, he texted back & said, "That would work."

And that was all I needed!

I also told him that we could now use our "extra" day for resting at the resort. But, I think we'll either go back to DHS or AK for the morning & then rest in the afternoon before MNSSHP.

What party are you planning to attend? We're planning on the 9/16 party - provided that's a party date! And we have an ADR for the Plaza.

We plan on attending the party on 9/16 and we have an ADR at the Plaza too! :) We did the Plaza before MNSSHP before and it's a great way to start the party! Maybe we'll see you there :goodvibes

we were planning on the party 9/13. I heard Friday parties are crazy cause of the locals. But I also didn't want to stay into the weekend so Tuesday was out only option.

Have they definitely released the party dates for this year? Last I checked nothing had been released.

Def do any early dinner ressie - no later than 5:30 pm, since you can get into MK at 4 you can take the opportunity to do a few rides since many people will be leaving to either hop to another park or to get ready for dinner or MNSSHP. You can jump in some lines to see a few characters or hit up a few rides. You can do a quick service like liberty tree tavern or dinner at Crystal Palace which starts at 3:30 :) Back in december we were allowed in the park at 3:30 for MVMCP - we did rides and some character pics and just strolled around. We ate dinner at 5:30 and by the time we were done, we went right into line to see the 7 Dwarfs :)
