Where to eat early dinner before Cirque du Soleil?

This March is a non-Disney trip, but we have tickets to Cirque du Soleil on Saturday March 25th for 6:00 pm. We will probably sleep a little late that day and hang around the pool. Then we were thinking of heading over to DD for an early dinner around 4:00 before Cirque. I wanted to eat at Wolfgang Puck's, but evidently they don't open till 6:00.

Any suggestions? (I'm travelling with DD10 who will only eat typical kid stuff and my mom, who is open to new foods like me)

What about Rainforest Cafe or Planet Hollywood? My favorite DD eats are at Fulton's and Portobello but those might be a bit much for your DD.

Shannon RT,

What makes you think that WP's Cafe isn't open until 6 p.m.? I think it is just the upstairs dining room that opens at 6 p.m.

We dined at the Cafe for a wonderful dinner at 4 p.m. before the early show.
Have you checked out the menus at allearsnet.com?

Have a great time! Cirque was a very entertaining show.

Sorry, I was speaking of the dining room upstairs. I wasn't sure about the Cafe. I have been looking at some menus at allearsnet.com. I'm interested in the "theming" as well as the food. We've been to Rainforest 2 or 3 times and I'd like to try something new. I've been to Planet Hollywood, but DD never has. She wants to eat there, probably not because of the food, but just because the building looks so cool.

Thanks so much for the suggestions. These boards are the best!

Okay, I had to reread this like 5 times because I thought you were stating you had a favorite DD! I was feeling sorry for any other DDs you might have. :rotfl:

Portobello Yacht Club is our absolute favorite. We ate there on our honeymoon before going to see Cirque (which is fabulous - you'll love it!). They do have a children's menu with pizza, hot dogs, chicken nuggets, etc.
Check out their menu at the link below. I really think you'll enjoy your meal! Have fun.

I would suggest Fultons. DH & I really enjoyed it, and they have plenty of 'kid-friendly' meals to choose from. Your DD may enjoy eating on a boat as well.
