Where to eat close to DHS?

During our trip in November I want to maximize our time at DHS. I have a 3 year old and a 9 year old that are going to want to see several shows each so I know we will have a full day. I don't really care for the food at DHS and haven't seen any that many other people do either. If we were going to leave the park and go eat somewhere else what would be some quick options? We can do TS (if we can get an ADR) or CS. We don't have a park hopper so it would have to be at a resort or DTD. We will have a car so we could drive. We've never had a car there so I don't know what resorts are the closest. Thanks!:thanks:

How about the Boardwalk/Yacht Club/Beach Club. You can boat to and from DHS. You can choose TS or go to a CS. I would check out the menus and see which ones you would like!

I know you said not HS but have you tried starring rolls. It is a really nice bakery with sandwiches and fresh baked goods that is a nice change from burgers and fries type meals

There's no food court at BC/YC so what would you consider CS there - the little deli/bakery in the gift shop? Not worth it IMO. Transport to/from DHS, and the time eating - about 2 hours - is it really worth going out of the park to eat?

My favorite spot for lunch anywhere in the World is the Cabana Bar & Grill at the Grotto pool at the Dolphin. It's just a boatride away from DHS. The Swolphin is the first stop from DHS on the boat, so it's about 15 minutes. You could walk there too, on the path that runs to the Boardwalk. Just cross the bridge & you're at the Swolphin. That would take about 20 minutes. Driving, you are just about right across the street.

Take the boat from DHS to the Beach Club and let them eat at Beaches and Cream. It's a small 50's style burger and fries kind of place with really yummy desserts. I'd suggest you let them have fun and order the kitchen sink, but not if you still want to walk around after they eat it! :goodvibes
