Help! Our flight will be landing around 12:30pm and after retrieving luggage and picking up the rental car, I'm going to have 3 very hungry boys! (DH, DS11, and DS2) I am not very familiar with Orlando outside the WDW/192 area...is there someplace reasonably inexpensive that's not too far out of the way between the airport and WDW? We'd prefer to avoid burger-type fast food. We can always wait and grab something at AKL after we check in, but I'd prefer to have them fed and happy. Any suggestions?

If I remember correctly, there's either a Ruby Tuesdays or a TGI Fridays at the 1st light after getting out of the airport (North Exit).

Hope this helps!

If you use the South Exit and get of on Orange Blossom Trail there are a few places. There is a Ruby Tuesdays or Steak and Shake in front of the Albertsons or if you go over by the Super Target, there is a TGIF or Cracker Barrell.

I'm not sure if this is the same location (Home Depot right off the highway) but we ate at Denny's there and it was great! We wanted something quick and actually thought it would be fun for the kids who had never been to Denny's and it was! We were practically the only ones there and we sat at the main counter so the service was fast and the waitstaff very attentive to the kids. Best of all we had a nice lunch and it was pretty cheap! :drinking1

I know we could just "wing it," but if you'd ever been around my DS2 when he's ready to eat, you'd understand my concern. These all sound like good suggestions.

Pea-n-me, yup that is the same area. I forgot about the Denny's.

Sheesh, I only moved from there 5 months ago and am already forgetting the area...boohoo.
