Hi guys - I was just looking at another Florida website and it says that resturants only serve breakfasts on weekends. I checked Ponderosa and Golden Corrall websites and they say the same..........

So where do you guys go for these great big buffet breakfasts that everyone tells me about........on a week day?????

Just trying to plan meal times and I'm not sure what to do now. I was planning to do one of the aboev each morning - but looks like I can't now!!:scared1:

Although not a buffet - we enjoyed IHOP (International House of Pancakes) for breakfast. Even DH who loves buffet enjoyed the French Toast with bacon & fried egg (cooked to your choice) with the obligatory maple syrup. :)
The kids kept asking to go back too - we even had Christmas Day breakfast in one :laughing:

I seen something like this before and it confused me as well (although I thought that it must be wrong). Had a look on the Golden Corral website and think it might be this bit that caused me the confusion;

Store Hours

As a general rule all Golden Corral Restaurants are open 7 days a week. Specific hours and menu items may vary. Please call your local Golden Corral to verify business hours, days of operation, menu offerings and if breakfast is served.

Lunch and Dinner
11am to 10pm
Saturday Breakfast
7:30am to 11:00am
Sunday Breakfast
7:30am to 11:00am

Its at the bottom of this page;

Along the 192 those that serve breakfast do it all week, try Denny's, IHOP and Golden Corral if you want a buffet. There is also a Ponderosa, and I am told that Shoneys does a breakfast but not been there.

There are plenty of places on the 192, Golden Corral being the best.

You also have the likes of Bob Evans, not necessarily buffet style but very nice.
IHOP is good too.

Although I always recommend Ponderosa, we find the quality varies depending on which restaurant you visit, the one close to the Formosa Gardens junction for example is nothing like as nice as the one on South I drive.

From the information posted on their websites, you can certainly be forgiven for thinking they don't open for breakfast on week days, but all those in the tourist areas of Orlando definitely do. They all tend to open at around 7am and serve lunch until 11am when they switch to the lunch menu.
