Where to eat before MNSSHP??

We are going to Liberty Tree Tavern before the party.

:goodvibes I agree, LTT is a great place to eat pre-MNNSHP. However, I think you'll find it's most likely totally booked by now for that date. No harm in trying though. On our last trip, we did O'Hana before MNNSHP and it was great!
Hope you find something! :thumbsup2

We are going to MNSSHP on 10/21 -

Where would you go for dinner?

We went to LTT the last time (before MVMCP). This year we are eating at Crystal Palace before MNSSHP. I like these two places best as it puts you in the park.

Otherwise, if I can't get one of these two locations, I'd probably try for a restaurant at a monorail resort. Maybe Chef Mickey's or O'Hana.

We are eating at cosmic rays around 6:30 because there is a Stich Dance Party around 7:00 in this eatery.:thumbsup2

We're doing Tony's Town Square before the party. We're going not for the food, but the Lady and the Tramp theming.

We're going to LTT that same night at 4:25...it IS totally booked, at least for 3, because I called back recently to try to bump to 5-5:30 and they said the whole night was full. So 4:25 it is! But I plan to check back occasionally and at 45 days, etc....cause you never know. :goodvibes

We always eat at the latest time available at the CP. Kona is also a great choice

We're booked LTT with a 4:25 ADR for the Halloween atmosphere. I would try for any of the MK restaurants from 4:15 to 5:30 at the very latest. You want to have time to wait for to be seated if necessary, then make it out in time to catch the non-partygoers clearing out. If that doesn't work, try for one of the monorail hotel's restuarants around 4pm. If you can't get an ADR you're happy with, check the October ADR cancellation thread. I think I've see a few pre-party ADRs that DISers are going to cancel.

We got a 5:25 ressie for Crystal Palace that someone gave up here on the boards. When I had called to make a ressie for anywhere there that night there was nothing avaiable before the party started.

Maybe you will have better luck now that I have read they are not going to let people double book ressies.

Good luck.

I do Cs before the party.last couple of times I did Ts i spent way too much valuble party time stuck trying to get out of the restaurant.I had an adr for 5p at LTT , and did not get seated till 545p , then had to wait forever for food and to see the characters.By the time we were done, it took another 30 mins to get the waitress to get our check..she kept forgetting it.We got out in the park by 730pm!!! so no more Ts for us on party nights.

When we went last year we did Cosmic Ray's. We did not want to get stuck in a Table Service place and not be able to get out. It worked out really well.

My preference for before parties is to enjoy counter service instead of a sit down meal.

The one year we did the Christmas party and ate an early dinner at the castle (4:50pm). Although the food was great (it was pre - pre-plated) we were so full that we had difficultly doing everything I wanted to do at the beginning of the party.

Lesson learned, all three times I've done the halloween party, I've stuck to counter service before the party. I enter the park at four, hit the rides that are not open during the party, once the party starts do as many of the special things as possible, then grab some food / snacks and watch the parade.

when at Disney I try to book my sit down meals where I don't plan on doing much afterwards (like relax at the hotel or find a spot to watch fireworks, or meander around and do some shopping).
