We are going to WDW for 12 days. The longest we have ever been. I'm so excited. This year my husband and I has decided to do something we have neve done before. Take our time and see other resorts and eat at places we haven't been before. Of course our children may have other plans.

With the parks closing early while we are there, we are figuring we will eat a late lunch, then do a later dinner and go to other resorts..

Where would you suggest??

Thanks
Linda

Boma has a great buffet at AKL and the Whispering Canyon at WL is alot of fun with interactive and skit performing waiters. Chef Mickeys is always a hit for the kids at CR.

We like to do this too. Gives you an excuse to check out the different hotels.

I haven't done dinner at Ohanas, we do the character breakfast there. But the resort is worth a peek.

Another resort worth a peek is the Wilderness Lodge. Either Whispering Canyon (which has nothing in common with Whispering - it is loud), or for a quieter dinner with some of the best food at Disney - Artists Point.

We've also done Narcoosee's - timing it to watch the Electrical Water Pagent and fireworks from our seat.

We haven't done the Epcot resorts at all, or the AKL. But have friends who swear by Spoodles.

Here are my suggestions: (in no particular order)

OKW, Olivia's
YC, YSH
BW, Flying Fish
CR, CG
WL, AP

For lunches we like (quick and sit down):

Turkey legs from the lunching pad in MK.
LTT and Cinderellas MK
San Angel Inn, Norway, Morroco, Chefs de France (EPCOT)
Hollywood and Vine, Drive in diner, commissary at MGM
Tusker House at AK

For Dinner:
LTT and Cinderellas MK
San Angel Inn, Norway, Morroco, Chefs de France (EPCOT)
Hollywood and Vine, Drive in diner, commissary at MGM
Tusker House at AK
Jiko or Boma at AKL
Artist Point at WL
Flying Fish or Spoodles at Boardwalk

Our favorites place for breakfast is Spoodles, hubby loves the all you can eat platter and I love the breakfast pizza. We also like Boma for breakfast.

The resorts usually are where you find the better restaurants and it is fun to explore as well.

The best resorts to explore and eat:

Boardwalk, Flying Fish

Wilderness Lodge, Artist Point

Grand Floridian, Citrico's

Contemporary, California Grill

Yacht & Beach Club, Yachtsman Steakhouse

Polynesian, Ohana's

Animal Kingdom Lodge, Boma

Not necessarily in this order

We love resort dinners. Some of our favorites are California Grill, Kona (for breakfast, too if you've not tried it), Narcoosee's, Citricos, V&A, Yachtsman's Steakhouse, Artist Point, and Jiko. We've yet to try Flying Fish but plan to when we're at the BCV in early January. We also very much enjoy Grand Floridian Cafe for lunch.
