We are looking for a place to eat lunch at US. Which place do you like? Which one has the best atmosphere? Which one has the best food? Thanks for your help. :goodvibes

There are only two full service restaurants at Universal Studios and two at Islands of Adventure.

At the Studios: Lombards and Finnegan's
At IoA: Mythos and Confiscos.
Citywalk: Emerils, Margaritaville, Pastamore, maybe others but I'm drawing a blank right now.
Onsite Hotels: Too many to name

It would help if you mentioned the type of food you are looking for. I've eaten at all the ones that I named above but usually just get counter service as we are too busy hitting all the rides.

Mythos has been rated number one for themepark restaurants several years in a row. It usually get the best reviews for food and atmosphere.

We are just going to US, if that helps. No special food preference. We just want to know what others thought about the restaurants. So we can miss the bad ones. Thanks for your help.

Our favorite at USF is Lombard's. Next is probably Cafe La Bamba, because I love their ribs and chicken, and they have frozen drinks available. The Beverly Hills Boulangerie is great for breakfast, Richter's Burger Co. is good for a fast lunch.
We avoid Mel's Drive-In. That place is NOT good at all.

If I am in Orlando, even just for business, and I have one evening I can go out to eat, I go to Mama Della's at the Portofino Bay Hotel. Even for a native NYer like me, the food at Mama's is awesome.

Finnegan's is good if you like an old fashioned Irish pub. My kids aren't crazy about it but my husband and I love it.

Boulangerie is great for sandwiches and pastries. I also like La Bamba. When we're with the kids, we eat at Louies becuase we can get a huge pizza and share it--- atmosphere isn't great but it is fast and cheap.

For atmosphere and good food: Finnegans and Lombards.

Can you make reservations or get ps at the sit down restaurants?

I agree with Lombard's Landing. Great atmosphere and wonderful food.

There is a sticky topic called "Important Dining information" on this page. It gives info on reservations.

Phone number: 407-224-FOOD

Depending on when you go, you probably won't need reservations.

If you like you can stop at guest services to the right of the entrance once you are in US and make a reservation; we went before 3pm and there was not wait at all for Lombard's Landing (a small one if you wanted outdoor seating); but I have also made reservations in the past; better to be safe than sorry I guess :)

Lombards Landing for sure - great fish and chips and the oreo milk shakes, they are to die for!
