I will be tagging along with DH to Disney while he is at a conference, I will be doing the parks alone. Lucky me!!! I'm not real big on eating alone, but I enjoy Disney food. So, where are some great places for lunch in the parks for a solo diner?? I may end up grabbing a CS and sitting somewhere to people watch, but want to know what my TS options are. tia

I did my first solo trip this past May (it was great). Most of my TS meals were at lunch and my favorite was LTT in MK. Coming in at a very close second were both LeCellier and Kona Cafe. Hope you have a great time!

I've enjoyed Rose & Crown solo. Their CMs just always seem so friendly. Besides I love their fruit/cheese plate and mushroom appetizers for lunch. The French menu at Chefs de France is also very good and if you request a table by the window you can sit and people watch.

I went solo in early May and did mostly CS. I did have one TS meal at The Plaza in the Magic Kingdom. I picked this because I'd never eaten there and the menu was a little less expensive than other places. I really enjoyed my lunch there. I had the rueben sandwich. It was good. The service was great and my waiter was on top of refills (which was great). I would recommend trying this place. It's a smaller restaurant and kind of off the beaten path.

I went solo in December and went to WCC solo twice. The first time I just people watched and the server left me pretty much alone. The second time I was part of the action. They introduced me to everyone as they were being seated. They kept saying I was a big time star and people just couldn't figure it out. It was fun and made my night.

I also went to Kona solo. Here it was peaceful and I could people watch (ask for a table along the back wall). I also had a drink before dinner at the Tambu lounge and really enjoyed the energy of the hotel.

I have had several wonderful solo meals at Les Chefs de France. See if you can get a table by one of the windows and do some people watching!
