We are going to Disney in 8 days for 7 days and have everything squared away with out ADRs.

I am second guessing my choices for Epcot. We will spend two days at Epcot and I have an ADR at Teppan Edo for lunch one day and Coral Reef for Dinner on the other day. I am concerned about the choice of Teppan Edo for the kids. I think the experience would be fun for them, but the food not so much. I am not a huge fan of hibachi, but my wife is. Looking at their menu, I really don’t think they will eat much. The shrimp is probably the best option.

We have a couple character meals already planned during our vacation.

With the children that age you might want to consider Biergarten for lunch. They have entertainment and a dance floor where lots of kids will go down and dance with the music.

We've taken our kids 2 and 4 there and had alot of success with it. There is rice, noodles, and choice of grilled steak, chicken, or shrimp basically. They had alot of fun and enjoyed it.

I agree with CF, the kids love the entertainment at Biergarten. The buffet is loaded with all kinds of sausage. My ds who is as picky an eater as they come, loves Biergarten.

I guess it depends on your children. Our children love Teppan Edo and they are 7, 6 and 3.

We ate there for the first time last year when DD was 7 and DS was 4. Both kids enjoyed the meal. In fact when I was planning ADRs for this April, DD begged for Teppan Edo to be on the list. It was a nice change from a lot of the other disney kids meals.

My kids really liked Via Napoli as you can watch them cook the food and they liked the ovens with the faces.

Teppan Edo is my family's favorite restaurant in Epcot. The kids love watching as the food is prepared in front of them. With choices such as chicken, beef, rice and veggies, there is plenty for even my pickiest eater to choose from. Teppan Edo is now a must-do for our family every time we visit.

My DS will be 20 on our next visit in May... and he WON'T let me plan a visit without Teppan Edo !

He has probably been there 10 or more times in his 20 years !

Also - if you are going in 7/8 days... I'm wondering what your choices will be? Of course I'm used to going when WDW is super busy... may not be the case for you...

Have a magical visit !

Both of my kids who are now 11 and 18 love Teppan Edo. They've both been going since they were little. Of course every child is different so what works for us may not work for you. If your going in a week though you may not have many choices available for changing restaurants.

Hope you have a great trip.

My kids are 12 and 18 and they love Teppan Edo. It is definitely a fun meal.

My kiddos love Coral Reef and San Angel. I keep planning to try Teppan Edo but my oldest is pretty picky and I don't see much he'd like. San Angel is always fun (they love eating by the pyramid) and there's always something there they like to eat.

More votes for Teppan Edo.

Last trip I started to doubt my ADRs once we had arrived. I called and switched to the restaurant in Italy thinking everyone would be happy....I thought they were going to make me walk the plank on the shipwreck at the BCV pool. Kids, at the time of this trip, were DS17, DD15, DD9....

Had to call back and switch back to Teppan Edo....thank goodness we were still able!

Going back in 30 days - ADRs for Teppan Edo all set for Feb. 20th! I learned my lesson!!!!

My ds11 made us cancel chef mickeys on our last day to eat at via napoli he loved the pizza that much
