Hi, I am new to the board and enjoying all the hints and tips, thankyou for ALL of them.

I am travelling with a friend, no kids, and am looking for a good place to eat in the Magic Kingdom where we can sit outside and get a good veiw of the fireworks and/ or spectromagic. I have been looking at the Wishes dessert party but wondered if there was something similar where we can eat a whole meal...not just desserts!!!

Thanks in advance!

There are no restaurants at Magic Kingdom where you would be able to sit outside and enjoy a nice meal while watching the parade or fireworks. Unless you grab something from counter service and stake out a bench. But you will be surrounded by tons of people. I don't think that's what you were looking for though...
Hope that helped.

We ate at Tony's xmas week 2008 and were seated in the conservatory room and had a great view of Specto as it went around the square. You cannot stand by the windows just to watch the parade if you are seated else where in the restaurant, but if you are seated in the conservatory or on the outdoor patio, its a great viewing. When we exited restaurant we were able to view Wishes fireworks from near the entrance/exit to the park which were great, just won't see Tink.

Thankyou for your reply. Too bad we couldnt get reservations at the fireworks dessert party ;0(

We often get dinner from Casey's Corner and carry it down to the train station. It's a great spot for people watching while you're waiting for the parade and/or fireworks and you're close to the park exit.
