Hi,

Since there is a good chance that this weekends ride a thon will be Bellas wonderful rooms and there has been so much comment about being sent to the entrance I decided to try and help. The following pictures are from WWEDUDE and I want to give him full credit for his wonderful pictures. I added to them to show what worked for me and I had no real problem navigating the ride.

Start room: If no one is in the rope off area then simply click the start but the problem with this room is if you only click the start and people are in line or cut you it makes you stop walking. I found clicking the sand in small increments worked wonders. As long as no one was blocking each click I moved right along. I marked both sides:

This room proved to be the hardest-I would have to click and click because if someone was coming over the hill they were in your way:

Last Room I could not seem to find a start but since it was after prize room It did not matter and I would leave via the map:

I was just about to post this lol. You're missing a few rooms (I think you're
still editing them in) and you posted two rooms twice btw. ;)

EDIT: Yup, you were still editing them in. Great guide!

Looks right to me...

Yeah, I love how this Ride-A-Thon turned into a game of Minesweeper. :rotfl2:

These are great pictures.

I would like to add that in the first room if no one is in the "rope areas" as is the case with the above pictures, if you simply click the start, your peep will walk straight from the door directly on to the ride.

I got stuck at the door in this Room on Saturday. I couldn't get onto the ride again, so I sent a nice little message to Bella via Report. I don't really do that, but I had others stuck with me. Anyways, I was quickly sent a Pop-up saying that the room was after the prize room and that I could use the Globe to get out and Ride again. :)

Your pix help out alot. :thumbsup2

Thanks for this. I managed to get back on in a few rooms, but had a trouble with one. Not anymore. :thumbsup2

I got "stuck" several times and found that if I just click in front of where I thought I was, that usually got me unstuck. I think I must have been clicking those areas that are shown in the picture.

I just want to add that I truly believe that the long wait lines stem from the very first room. I think the placement of the start pieces, in between the poles is a bad choice. You can try to click on it but a lot times it just didn't work that well. So many people got delayed in the first room. I hope they reconsider the entry rooms and the position of the start pieces. I also think fewer rooms to the prize room would be nice.
I would also like to see a start piece in every room if possible. Not sure what next weekend will bring but if it was like last weekend, then we could use all the help we can get.

Thank you! Thank you! Thank you!

That is exactly what I needed! :worship: :worship: :worship:

Thanks for posting this. I 'fell off' several times, and by a little trial and error managed okay. My biggest difficulty was the lag was so bad, I didn't even know I'd fallen off the track! LOL Now if we can just stop the line blockers in the start rooms, all should go well this coming weekend.

I agree - just taking away the ropes in that first room would help tremendously with the backups from that room.

thanks for the pics! they will sure help me after getting knocked off the ride so many times on saturday.

It would really help if Bella would revise the start room to make the ride start pieces more accessible. The lag was so bad that I would be clicking and but my character would not move until a few minutes later. If she would put ride start pieces as soon as you walk in the room that would do wonders.

I agree it would help to have a track start at the beginning of the ropes bc many would either go afk while in the roped off area where you cannot "skip" them, or they were just too young to figure out how to maneuver the path. It does look more realistic having to walk through the roped off area though.

Bug this should be very helpful to those who didn't get to ride last week. I forgot we were in the dark room and kept clicking track near the left side of the screen since that's where my chat bubble would appear. Unfortunately a few of my long waits ended in no prize bc of crashing or not knowing how to get back on the first day.

very good post! I would have done this if... well... i wasnt so lazy? ROFL

thank you bug :)

Hi fellow pirates! pirate:

I asked Lily in the host room this morning, if by any chance they were going to move the start pieces for the ride a thon closer to the entrance since many people had so much lag. I know there were times I couldn't even move or make it on the ride. She told me they were thinking about it, so if that happens yay! That would definitly help everyone out I am sure! :yay:

Now if only I fell off in the "Queue room" after I received my prizes!! :rotfl:

This is a great thread - the pictures are perfect! It's a shame VMK can't post something like that during the ride-a-thon next weekend. It really is difficult to explain to other players where to specifically click, especially with the lag. Kudos for the pictures! :cheer2:

Bumping this up for the weekend, just in case anyone wished to ride for the turrets and needs a refresher on how to get back on the rides. :)

Great post!!!!

If I may add a suggestion. In the room with the difficult hill click - try to click the arrows on the bottom of the track piece, not the top of the hill arch. I found I would board the track much quicker when I clicked toward the bottom of the tracks.
