Where to buy Nerf gun party favors?

I want to give each child a gun without breaking the bank! I know some of my son's friends already have Nerf guns, but I would hate to only give guns to some of the guests. Are there any places to get these a little cheaper than Walmart or Amazon??

I picked up 2 of these for dd's at Target in the clearance end-cap.. but that was for stocking stuffers about 2 months ago. Not sure if they'd still have any.

Kmart.com has the Nerf N-Strike Reflex IX-1 for $4.99 with free shipping. It comes in yellow or blue. Then if you use the code KMART10PSAVINGS, it knocks off an additional 10% so the cost of each gun will be $4.49. I'm not sure if that is in the price range you are looking for, but that is the cheapest I have seen so far.

If the Nerf guns are too much what about having them all build their own marshmallow gun? If you look online and at Pinterest there are some really cute party ideas using the marshmallow guns and more marshmallow "ammo" as part of the gift bags.

I LOVE to plan birthday parties. Seriously LOVE it LOL.

We just had a nerf blaster party Saturday. I'll try and remember to post a pic of the cake. We fixed goody bags for the kids with a few pieces of ammo, candy and I ordered safety glasses for the kids but I had ordered them too late and they didn't come in in time. The glasses were only 1.99 I think, and the bullets were like 4.99 for a pack of 10, so I thought if you don't find the guns at a reasonable price you might could do goody bags.

You might look at the buzz-bee guns in the nerf section. They are less expensive, but still popular with my DS and his friends.
You could check for these on clearance at target. Last summer we found a really big buzzbee gun on clearance for like $6 that we paired with an itunes card for a gift. We also bought 5 smaller guns for $1.97 each and saved them for favors for DS's party in October.

If you are really set on nerf, you could try looking at kohls. We found a small nerf pistol there on sale and then with a coupon it was probably about $3. DS loves the small pistol and has two of them. They shoot really far. When he in in battle, he can keep one in each pocket as back up. I think the pistol is called Nerf N-Strike Reflex IX-1 Dart Blaster. It comes in yellow or blue. Christmas of 2010 and by request Christmas of 2011 I bought enough 3 pack of nerf like guns (tek I think) at Target so that all of those at our Christmas Eve party had one. The 3 pack was $5.99 and came with 9 pieces of ammo. So approx. $2 per gun. They worked really well. I think they would make a great goody bag gift.
