Where to buy inexpensive wedding dress?

I am looking on David's Bridal site and even those (well the ones I like) seem to be a bit pricey. I don't need anything big, something more simple since it will be on be (hopefully) on Luau Beach

If you want, you can look at my post a few down about buying my dress on ebay. It was custom ordered from China, it was $1350 in the store, and I got it for $168. It was gorgeous, custom fit for me (I sent them my measurements), and they made it and I had it in my hands in 8 days. Unbelievable. The seller's name was best-love-u. You can also look on ebay and just searching wedding dresses. I hope this helps!

I know you said you looked at David's site, but did you look at their online-only styles? A lot of them are less than $200, and they are returnable if you don't like the fit/style on you after you order. I just got my vow renewal dress this week from David's site for $249 and I love it!!

Another idea is to find a bridesmaid dress you like in white or ivory and wear that.

I agree with David's Bridal, especially on their sale events. A friend of mine bought a gorgeous dress for $50.

Have you tried upper scale thrift shops. A dress is only worn for a couple of hours and you can spend a little extra to have it cleaned at your local dry cleaner.

The Nordstrom dresses I have to say are nice I ordered one and it arrived yesterday. Nice material and quality less than $300. I have to return my but would reccomend it

Try ebay - theres a lot of wedding dresses for sale that brides have paid for and wore once then put them up for sale.

If you dont mind a second hand dress then what i would do is go round the shops and see if theres one that you particularly like then se if someone is selling it on ebay for alot less. You can get a right bargain.

I agree with those that said Davids Bridal- I got mine off the as-is rack for $100. It has some loose beading, which they're fixing for free, but otherwise it was fine. It was an online exclusive style that someone ordered, didn't like, and returned, and since it was just discontinued they put it on the clearance rack. Some DB's have better deals than others- go to the biggest and busiest one near you- in my experience the bigger and busier the store is, the larger the selection of sale/discontinued/clearance dresses.
