Where to buy Alcohol when staying at OKW?

Hi, we are staying at OKW for a week next June and am trying to decide what groceries we can get delivered to the hotel so we don't have to hire a car.

But I am also looking at getting some specific alcohol for the evenings we are going to be in whilst the kids are asleep. Don't get me wrong, were not big drinkers but we would like to be able to have the occasional drink once our kids are in bed and were out on the balcony.

If we don't have a car where would be the nearest or easiest place to get some? I'm mostly wanting some rum and ideally a mango rum if somewhere near by sells it.

Hope someone might be able to advise me of a local shop or even a grocery store that will do it and deliver to the hotel.

We usually order from Garden Grocer and they will deliver beer, wine, and alcohol. Beer and wine you choose with your order and alcohol you just request in the comments section when you place your order. They will then call you and give you a price.

We've used We Go Shop at OKW for grocery delivery (with alcohol) and had no issues. Actually we've used them at almost every DVC resort on property. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them.

Second the Garden Grocer delivery. We've ordered alcohol quite a few times with them and never had a problem.

I think the Hess gas station just outside DTD sells alcohol -- at least beer and wine.

I normally pack in our suitcase (we check in) a bottle of vodka for dh and a bottle of wine for me.

Thanks everyone for you help. I will have to try one of the online grocers and hope they sell the type of alcohol we are after. It's only for the first week whist we are staying in disney (the second we are offsite and have a car so can go anywhere )


Anywhere know somewhere that sells nice mango rum?

We always go to the ABC Liquor Store They have just about everything. It's the closest liquor store to the OKW side of the property.

If you don't require a regular size bottle, I have seen rum in the shop at YC, POFQ,BC, GF and the Poly. I haven't looked at others but I assume most resorts have it available. Unfortunately the selection, while pretty decent, is somewhat limited thus no mango rum for sure. I always bring some in my suitcase as PP suggested.
