Where to buy a birthday card?

Has anyone seen or know of a place in Disney World to buy a birthday or anniversary card? In a park or Downtown Disney?
Staying at the Beach Club and nothing here :-(

The only thing I can think of is the scrap book areas usually have stationary and packs of cards, but I think they are blank.

I would ask the concierge in the lobby. They have all sorts of cards that they leave in the room for birthdays and stuff that the characters sign (I got one in March for my bday) but they might be able to give you a blank one?

I had the same problem last year. We went down for my son's birthday and I didn't buy a card ahead of time figuring I could get a cute Disney one while there. We were staying in WL and I asked and they had nothing. I asked in the park and was given the same answer. Since we did not have a car with us, we couldn't go offsite. I ended up buying a postcard and using the envelopment in the desk drawer to put it.
You would think Disney would sell cards, they would make a killing on it since most people are down there celebrating something.

I'd check over at Boardwalk's shops...I do remember seeing cards somewhere there. I think it was at the Wyland Galleries. I'd also look at Downtown Disney (Art of Disney) and also Disney's Wonderful World of Memories which you can buy things to like photo albums and stationary.

I swear the gift shop in POR and Contemporary had card sections. Maybe try calling them to see?

I have never understood why they don't sell Birthday cards,etc. at WDW.

I'm sure there is a reason,but I remember the first time I looked for a Birthday card in the Parks and was shocked to find out there weren't any!

Maybe if everyone starts doing this,Disney will get the "hint" and finally start selling event cards!!!!

I would buy cards from Disney but they are really difficult to find on property
