WOW!! Hope my title says it all, :rotfl:

My dilema is this:

I am currently booked for my 3rd trip to Disney World with just my 14 yo son and I Saturday Feb 5 (arriving early morning so have most of the day to tour) to check out on Friday, Feb 11 (was originally planning to head over to Universal Studios around 10 am)
The original plan was to spend the night of Friday, Feb 11 and Sat Feb 12 in Universal.....early flight home on Sunday the 13th of Feb, so that day is a write off.

Now I am planning my dining at Disney and double-guessing whether or not I should add on an additional day for Universal....1 1/2 touring days (1/2 of the Friday and All Day Saturday) might not be enough for a first timer???
My son is 14 and he would do Hulk, I am sure, and some other bigger coasters if there was someone to share them with....but I am not into the big, big coasters, so Revenge of the Mummy and Harry Potter's FJ will probably be our biggest thrills.

We have been to Disney twice before. Magic Kingdom is the most uninteresting park for us.....of course, there are a few things we really enjoy, but I can see that park being a feirly easy day.

I have a day a park planned for each one:

Saturday Feb 5 arrive at 7:15 AM....head to Beach Club (perhaps sleep until 12 and then head to Epcot for the rest of the day. 1:00 PM LE CELLIER Ressie, and then plan to enjoy Illuminations this evening for my first time (now that I can walk back to my resort after!!!)

Sunday Feb 6th: Magic Kingdom Day

Monday Feb 7th: Animal Kingdom Day

Tuesday Feb 8th: Disney Hollywood Studio Day

Wed. Feb 9th: Free Day to catch Favourites

Thursday Feb 10th: This is the day I am contemplating.....Should we head to Universal today??? or The next (Friday the 11th) as originally planned?????

I am thinking as we are not Disney First-timers, and we do have 1 extra day worked into the Disney Days for hitting our favourites, perhaps I should head early to Universal?
That would give us the 1/2 day of Feb 10th and all day of Friday the 11th and Sat the 12th to do Universal.

What do you think? I could use some help deciding as I am trying to finalize my ADR plans.

TIA for your help!!

There's no question I would do 2 days! 1 for Universal and the other for Islands of Adventure! Both parks have a lot to see and do and I'm sure both of you will love it!! :thumbsup2

Oh, and try to get there early for Harry Potter on your Island of Adventure day. Right now it's the most popular theme park attraction in America and possibly the world, so the lines do tend to get pretty long for that.

Have fun and I hope you decide to give 1 park a full day each, you won't regret it. :3dglasses

Thank you Disney Padawan for your quick reply!!! :goodvibes I just took your advice and modified my Disney reservation to end Feb 10th. This will give us 2 1/2 days for Universal!(1/2 the day on Thursday Feb 10th, All Day Friday and Saturday Feb 11/12) I will make sure to plan to get there early on our WWOHP day, which I will probably do first on the Friday. I think on Thursday afternoon we might check out Universal a little/ and or the pool and have a nice meal at City Walk. Then be fresh to hit WWOHP on Friday.
In any event, I think I made the right decision :)
