We are currently planning our first trip to Disney for this Dec. for our honeymoon. I took a day for ourselves and am going to book a spa treatment for the two of us at GF. I am wondering where would be a nice place to book dinner for that evening?
Places we already are looking at for dinner reservations are Coral Reef, Sci-Fi Dine In, Rainforest Cafe, Liberty Tree Tavern, Crystal Palace, Planet Hollywood, ESPN Club.

If you have some cash to splurge and dont mind wearing a jacket, Victoria and Alberts, figure around 150 to 200 per person. If that is a bit too insane of a price, I recommend the following and in this order.

Narcoossee's
Il Mulino--Swan/Dolphin resort
Blue Zoo--Swan/Dolphin resort
Flying Fish
California Grill--Window table if possible

There are a lot of nice places. It depends on what you want to eat and how much you are willing to spend.

Here's a few:
California Grill....book a late ADR so you can watch Wishes
Citrico's
Narcoosee's
Yatchsman Steakhouse

We love Jiko at AKL. Not sure where you are staying, but that is always a great time for us. You can go out to pool after dinner and watch the animals through nightvision goggles. AKL is a wonderful resort!

another yes for jiko, yachtsman's, and flying fish. citricos at GF is very nice. artist point at wilderness lodge is wonderful.:yay:

Like what everyone else said... depending on how much you are looking to spend, depends where I would recommend.

California Grill - Window Seat - Late ADR - ($50-$75 per person ish)
LeCellier - Great steak and AWESOME mashed potatoes ($45-$65 per person)

Looks like you are looking at more moderate places to eat. I would not recommend Coral Reef. Unless the atmosphere of a huge aquarium (cool fish and sharks swimming around) to look at out weighs the bad food there. IMO it was not worth it.

Sci-Fi - Cool place. Not sure how great the food is. I only got a grilled chicken sandwich that was pretty good. A lot of people say the milkshakes are good here but I thought they were awful.

Ohana's - I enjoyed O'hana's a lot. Very cool buffet hawaiian family style. Chicken wings were awesome, along with their pineapple / coconut bread.

My suggestions for moderately priced/1TS options :thumbsup2: Chefs de France in Epcot, Grand Floridian Cafe, The Wave

For something a bit more expensive : Citricos, California Grill, Narcoossees, or Yachtsman Steakhouse

The nicest meals we have had at WDW are:

1. Shula's
2. Narcoossees
3. Fulton's
4. Blue Zoo

We're trying out CG next month but have always heard good things about it.

After a nice spa at the GF NONE of those places are really good. Maybe Coral Reef but after a nice relaxing spa I don't think I would want to go back in to a Park. I would suggest any of the signature restaruants outside of California Grill as it is very chaotic. My favorite is Flying Fish then Jiko's then Artist Point. I would take a cab to any of these as again I would not want to get on a bus after a nice relaxing spa treatment.

If you go to Flying Fish you can take a nice walk to Epcot after dinner have a glass of Champagne and watch illuminations and then catch a cab back to your resort from the Beach Club.

After dinner at Jiko's you could walk out to the savannah and look at the animals with night vision

Citricos, Jiko or Narcoossee's are good restaurants we enjoyed. But I have been reading alot of reviews on Victoria and Albert...I think that would be a nice romantic restaurant (no kids allowed)

You have to go to V&A . . . especially since it's your honeymoon . . . it's a meal you will never forget!

Of the places I've been, if you are looking for a very upscale decor as well as menu with the taste and presentation to back it up, I'd say Todd English's Blue Zoo. We went when it was VERY quiet and got a booth for two. Everything was spectacular and honestly more upscale than the other Disney places we've been that are considered upscale like Narcoosees (won't do again), Jiko, California Grill (and most of the places listed by PPs). Never been to V&A but I would definitely give it a shot w/o the kids. Many of the places listed my previous posters are nice, but not upscale. So as others said, depends on what you are looking for and expecting out of the meal. BESIDES good taste. ;) When I think of an upscale anniversary meal. I think of something Id' seen on Top Chef (Masters of course). LOL

If you are already at the CR you could go to California Grill. Get a seat by the window and watch fireworks during dinner.
