My husband has a meeting at The Swan in March (8th-14th) and we are trying to figure out where to stay-HELP! The Swan is a little over our price range and we are bringing our 3 year old and 7 month old. I will be taking the kiddos to the parks while he attends his meetings so we would like to stay somewhere convenient for both of us :earboy2: . Is there such a place? Thanks!

get a price for the Swan here - see the link above - click it on.

Sometimes they charge diz less than others.

I hope it works for you

You will find the Swan more affordable than you think,, don't go by the listed rack rates,, they do some really deep discounts. I think they do an AAA discount too, which is nearly 50% less than what they list as rack rate. Also, they do a discount for ENT, if you get an Entertainment book,, the discount is about 50% as well.

AAA Rate

The Swan and Dolphin sometimes offer discounts of 50% off to AAA members. Call the hotel at (888) 828-8850 and ask if the rate is available for the dates you want. Thanks to Sue Pisaturo of Small World Vacations for updated info.

Entertainment Book

When available, the Entertainment Book rate is 50% off the "rack rates" at the Swan and Dolphin resorts. (Note that these hotels are not listed in every edition of the book, but the discount still applies, when rooms are available.) You do not need a coupon from the book, but you will have to show your Entertainment card at check-in.

mousesavers read more about other discounts, and you may find it's workable afterall :)

Definitely do what you can to stay at the Swan or Dolphin (sometimes the Dolphin is cheaper). We have stayed at both, and it's great being so close to two parks with little ones. Bus service to MK is also very good. Remember, you don't have to have a rental car if you are staying there. Disney transportation will more than suffice.

Is there any kind of convention rate? Will his company pay for part of the room? If not, it should be tax deductible since it's work related travel.

I too would check with the conference etc. My dh is going to a conference at the swan/dolphin in dec. and part of the conference price includes the room. You could also call direct and ask if they are giving conference attendees a room discount etc. Do you qualify for a govt., teacher or nurse discount. You could buy a childs ap and get a room discount if the swan/dolphin are still honoring them. If you choose the swan you will be the 1st bus stop for park pickups. That is why we choose it over the dolphin. But the most restraunt choices are at the dolphin, the swan is a little more compact and less of a walk back to the room for us. Is your dh a starwood member with points etc.
