Where should we eat at MK???

We'll probobly sit down for lunch.
Here's what we have so far...

Weds-MGM- Mama Melroses early dinner
Thurs- MK-??? maybe Whispering Canyon for late dinner
Fri- Chef Mickeys for breakfast- Epcot- San Angel Inn dinner
Sat- AK- Rainforest Cafe for lunch

Any suggestions are welcome.
Also- any other places you love- please feel free to post!!!

If you are going to eat at Whispering Canyon for dinner, I would suggest eating at the Plaza Restaurant for lunch. It is a nice break mid day to sit down and relax. They have some great sandwiches and salads, as well as ice cream and shakes. We have never been disappointed and visit there every trip.

Ok youre in luck, two of our favorites are at MK. Pecos Bills has the best counter service in all of the "world." And our favorite characture meal is dinner at Liberty Tree Tavern.

Skip San Angel Inn. This was the worst service ever! We couldnt believe that we were still on Disney property. Instead try for Rose and Crown during Illuminations. Or the Coral Reef up front is really cool (arrive early and ask for a tank side table). Or move the whispering canyon to your epcot day, since we do love this place, though we like it better for breakfast.

Pecos Bill is great for counter service, so is El Pirata y El Perico. I second the idea of Liberty Tree Tavern. The atmosphere is so neat, and the food and character interaction is great too.

Keep WCC on your list! It is a great place to eat! Also consider Coral Reef or LeCellier at Epcot!

Unlike previous poster, we had a great meal at SAI that was totally worth it and a horrible meal with terrrible service at R&C. All of the restaurants have hits and misses, go with what appeals to you.

I'd skip, run, flee, avoid, and make it a point to NOT GO TO San Angel Inn!

YUCK! YUCK! YUCK! YUCK!


I think it is possibly the worst food I have EVER had in my life ANYWHERE!

I would add Liberty Tree Tavern though!

May I ask why???
service- did not care for the food?

The food was (sholder shurgging)ok at San Angel Inn. BUt the service was aweful. They took forever to greet us after seating us. The drinks and appatizers took forever and then the main course came out right on top of it. The waiter was rude when he was around and the manager literally knocked me over without so much as an "excuse me."

If we want to go to the Liberty Tree Tavern for lunch, should we make a reservation? We're going to kinda wing it that day- and not quite sure what time we want to stop to eat!

We have had two great lunches at San Angel Inn. We had a horrible dinner at Rose & Crown (we won't go back anytime soon).

Make a PS for LTT for lunch. You won't have to wait as long. And get the pot roast or turkey dinner for lunch. You will not have to eat dinner that night. We ate at LTT for lunch three times on our last trip. I had the pot roast twice. YUM.

If you're going to have a big dinner, I would suggest either Pecos Bills or Casey's (especially if you or anyone you're with is a baseball fan). IF you'd like to have a big lunch, I suggest Tony's (great spaghetti and one large meatball) or Liberty Tree Tavern (great meal, plenty to eat).

I would suggest LTT for dinner at MK over WCC at the WL. For lunch that day, I would do peco Bills.

OK, We love San Angel Inn, so it's to each his own. We found the food delicious and service was fine. Done under the CP package we were a little rushed but our waiter was delighful and attentive.
If there were not so many good places to try at WS. we would return each trip.
