Where should I request at OKW?

We will be staying at OKW for the first time in October. I know the resort is quite spread out, so I would like to make a location request. We did not book close to the Hospitality House. I would like to be one of the first bus stops, so that we might have a better chance of getting a seat. I know that there is not a guarantee of getting what we ask for, but I'm going to try. Would it be better to ask for a certain road, or specific building? Any advice would be appreciated!!! :goodvibes

This may help.

I have only stayed there once. We were in BLDG 43. It was conveniently located on a cul-de-sac with pool, hot tub and snack bar(lunches only). If you look on map it appears far to bus stop but actually pretty close.

Anyways the map should help when you do online check-in.

okw does not have the crowds that are at the other resorts.

that say think the order for theme parks is

Peninsular Road
South Point
Old Turtle pond
Miller road
HH

dd is a different route. the roads are the bus stops - as you can see.

like South Point - building 55 - has a pool next to it - some nice views and not a long walk to the bus stop.

where the bus turns you don't want those building - seem several cases of when a driver did not park all the way end the parking lot and the bus driver had to go very, very slow to avoid hitting the car/van (mostly van).

I second #43 or 44. Right at the pool, and only about a minute walk to the bus top. Please note on your reservation that those are the areas you would want to be in!:goodvibes

We have stayed at South Pointe twice and really like it. Request Bldgs 53-56, that's the cul-de-sac. The bus is at the end/entrance. It's the first stop in the morning so you will always get a seat, plus like a PP said, it's not as crowded as other resorts so you will most likely get a seat no matter where you are.

Our last trip we stayed in the last room in 56 so the side of our room faced the main road. On the first day we thought the buses were loud, but after that we never heard them. It became just general background noise and was not a problem.

OKW is really nice and peaceful. We really like it.
