Where should I get my Disney tickets next?

I think Target has cracked down on those who went to Target and bought Disney Tickets from their "Gift Card" selection and getting the 5% back. As I understand it, you can't get the 5% anynore.

But since the last few posts have been talking about buying from LMT (Last Minute Travel) or Sam's Club directly, a Target card won't work, nor would a Disney gift card.

My suggestion is to look at your current Credit Card offers, as many companies have jmped on the fact that VISA is now accepted at both COSTCO and Sam's Club, and offering things like extra cash back (one will give me 5%) for "Membership Warehouse/Wholesale Clubs" purchases through the end of the year. So I can get the LMT/Sams Club price, charge it to my Visa card through Sam's Club, and then get my 5% based on the special offer. One was from Chase VISA.
What if you get a prepaid Visa with my Target red card and pay for the tickets with it? That way you would get 5% back from Target ? I don't know where you can use the Disney gift cards? But the VISA gift cards you should be able to use any place that takes VISA?

On a side note to this, I specifically asked LMT about prepaid debit cards and they did say they accepted them, but they can only accept one form of payment per order. Most of those pre-paid cards have a $500 limit on them, so unless you need less than $500 worth of tickets, you'd need to split your ticket order up.

Yes, you can buy at the front desk of the DLH, but you do have other cheaper options.

Not sure what type of ticket you need (days and if a park-hopper), but most places will sell you a ticket with the print-at-home feature, where you just take the barcode that prints out directly to the turnstiles and a "traditional" ticket is printed out when you enter. Some deals have you trade in your voucher at the ticket booths (but the DLR Front desk can also do it).

Here is a good list of discounted offers.

Thanks for the link. Anyone else see the 3 day park hopper with a free 4th day added on the ARES site? Looks like a great deal if your going for that many days.

That is still about $20 more per ticket more than Sams/LMTClub on a 4 day park hopper. $278 vs $295

Another odd thing on the Ares site is it shows a 3 day park hopper for $280. Then it shows a 3 day park hopper with 4th day FREE for $295. Seems to me that the 4th day is $15 not free. lol

The SAMS club tickets don't seem to be available everywhere as I have not been able to find them online or over the phone and I am a member. Normal price for the 3 day park hoppers is 295. So they have the 3 day park hopper at a discount but you don't get an extra day or you can pay full price for the 3 day park hopper and get a full day added to it.

I called Sam's Club Travel Monday, asked if they had Disneyland tickets. They had them and I bought adult 4 day park hoppers for $277.75 apiece. They are not on their website though, but they definitely had them over the phone. They are also on the lmtclub website at that price.

So is it worth joining Sam's Club if I found a $20 groupon? I am going in January 2017 and want a 3 day pass for 2 adults and 2 kids. Torn between 1 park and hopper.

It'll save you about $100 either way, so it's definitely worth $20. But I'd just try calling and trying to buy them and see if they even ask you for a membership. Or, as others have said in various threads, you can call LMTclub and buy without a membership and its the same price as Sam's.

Get Away today matched these prices for me.
