Where Pixie-Dusted Birthday Dreams Come True! A July Trip Report! PTR Link! Pg. 116

How much you want to bet that Dragon is laying on a heated Disney "rock". Very cool...thou I feel the need to paint it's nails a bright red!

I can ALWAY tell when my DH takes a couple pictures....looks alot like Charles'

What fun pics in front of the Tigers' sign! :thumbsup2

Those poor tigers must have been so hot...I kept thinking of how hot we were in July and those poor animals have FUR! I don't blame them for sleeping the days away!

Connor approaching the tigers with a Sprite bottle...:rotfl2:

YAY for EE...can't wait to read about it! :woohoo:

I love those tiger looks, especially Chelsea's! I am going to have to remember to grab a Sprite bottle before we go down the trek to keep the animals sleeping. ;)

The first two times I saw the tigers they were so animated. I could not figure out how Disney did it. I even thought maybe they weren't real. But ever since then the tigers have been just like that. Bums.

Your family never ceases to crack me up Jackie!!!! Such care and caution was taken before venturing over to see the tigers!!! Thank goodness for Connor and his multi-purpose Sprite bottle LOL!!!

That dragon looks like he is enjoying life!!!

Have a great Friday Jackie, I'm so ready for the weekend!

You 4 always have so much fun, whatever you're doing! :cool1: I don't think I've seen the tigers awake yet. I think you have to visit them first thing in the morning. I want a hot rock like that lizard has - my bones are chilly from Fall coming so quickly!

A couple of monkeys.

We are looking forward to meeting your little monkey tomorrow! :dance3:

Have a great Friday Jackie, I'm so ready for the weekend!

Every teacher's motto! :thumbsup2

Oh No I'm Not.....Oh yes I am! :thumbsup2

Yes, you are!

Your park bag is almost bigger than you are .....haha!

I was thinking the same thing when I saw that picture. It didn't seem that big at the time!

I love the tigers and I will get on that trail this trip! Great pictures of the kids. I wonder what was up with the bats?????

We wondered, too. There was a CM there who was keeping people away from the curtains. Who knows with bats.

So, I still don't know - Did you ride EE????? Please tell me YES!

I am afraid you might be disappointed. :rolleyes1

Looks like all the tiger worries were for nothing.:lmao:
I sure hope Chelsea held on tight to her camera for now on.
Can't wait to hear about everest!:goodvibes

Yes, the tiger worries were for nothing. LOL! Yes, Chelsea held on very tightly to that camera.

How much you want to bet that Dragon is laying on a heated Disney "rock". Very cool...thou I feel the need to paint it's nails a bright red!

I hadn't thought of that, but I am sure you are right. I think the Dragon would look lovely with some painted tootsies.

I can ALWAY tell when my DH takes a couple pictures....looks alot like Charles'

You can see the reason why I don't let Charles take more pictures.

What fun pics in front of the Tigers' sign! :thumbsup2

We always feel the need to pose there.

Those poor tigers must have been so hot...I kept thinking of how hot we were in July and those poor animals have FUR! I don't blame them for sleeping the days away!

We were so hot just walking the trail -- if I were a tiger, I would have been laying in the fountain all day long.

Connor approaching the tigers with a Sprite bottle...:rotfl2:

It always pays to be on your guard when there are wild animals about. LOL!

YAY for EE...can't wait to read about it! :woohoo:

EE is always good for a story.

I love those tiger looks, especially Chelsea's! I am going to have to remember to grab a Sprite bottle before we go down the trek to keep the animals sleeping. ;)

Yes, Sprite bottles are a valuable item to have on treks through the jungle. LOL! I told Chelsea to look scared and that's what I got.

The first two times I saw the tigers they were so animated. I could not figure out how Disney did it. I even thought maybe they weren't real. But ever since then the tigers have been just like that. Bums.

They are big, lazy cats. Last year there was one on the prowl, but the rest have always been sleeping.

AWww, I love the sweet tigers!!!!! :goodvibes

They are such big kittie cats!!!

Your family never ceases to crack me up Jackie!!!! Such care and caution was taken before venturing over to see the tigers!!! Thank goodness for Connor and his multi-purpose Sprite bottle LOL!!!

Thanks! We take our jungle treks very seriously! :lmao:

That dragon looks like he is enjoying life!!!

Undoubtedly. If I were an animal, I would want to be a Disney animal. They sure enjoy a nice life.

Have a great Friday Jackie, I'm so ready for the weekend!

Me too! The kids are already crazy -- today is the first dance which always riles them up!

You 4 always have so much fun, whatever you're doing! :cool1: I don't think I've seen the tigers awake yet. I think you have to visit them first thing in the morning. I want a hot rock like that lizard has - my bones are chilly from Fall coming so quickly!

Thanks! We do enjoy our adventures when we are at Disney. :thumbsup2

I wish fall would arrive here -- we are over the heat and humidity. I just want to it to be a little cooler -- not cold.

We are looking forward to meeting your little monkey tomorrow! :dance3:

We are very excited! :yay:

Every teacher's motto! :thumbsup2

That's for sure! I am counting down the hours until I can start my weekend!

Whew! Glad ya'll survived the jungle trek. I was on the edge of my seat!

I love all your detail pictures. So many things to see.

Of course the "scared" photos are a hoot. Connor is the most expressive child.

I have to wonder if the bats were possibly indisposed, maybe it was mating season?

Now I have to make sure we do that trail. I don't think we've ever done it!

I wonder what was up with the bats?

Your family is so fun!

I love all your poses in front of the tiger sign, how fun! I think maybe you should have had Chelsea take your picture though......

The bats being covered up immediately brought to mind the KK2 book, wonder what was going on back there

The tiger trepidition pictures are making me laugh today. It looks like you were all having so much fun.

Whew! Glad ya'll survived the jungle trek. I was on the edge of my seat!

It was touch and go there for a little bit.

I love all your detail pictures. So many things to see.

Thanks! I just love everything about the Animal Kingdom.

Of course the "scared" photos are a hoot. Connor is the most expressive child.

He does get into his "acting."

I have to wonder if the bats were possibly indisposed, maybe it was mating season?

I can't lie -- that's the thought that crossed my mind.

Now I have to make sure we do that trail. I don't think we've ever done it!

It is very neat.

I wonder what was up with the bats?

It was weird.

Your family is so fun!

Thanks! We were enjoying ourselves.

I love all your poses in front of the tiger sign, how fun! I think maybe you should have had Chelsea take your picture though......

Thanks! Yes, next time I am handing the camera to Chelsea. ::yes::

The bats being covered up immediately brought to mind the KK2 book, wonder what was going on back there

Oh, that's right! I forgot about that!

The tiger trepidition pictures are making me laugh today. It looks like you were all having so much fun.

We were having a pretty good time -- too bad it was a hundred degrees out at the time.

No bats, hm? Curious...:scratchin

I have a hunch they were "misbehavin'."

I just realized today that although I have been reading and enjoying the journey, I have yet to actually post on here!!! :) I think you have had such a lovely trip so far! Now, I have been meaning to ask you----how would you compare the time of the year that you ventured down this year in reference to when you usually go in June? Hotter? By alot???? More crowded??? BY ALOT????? Just wondering!!! :)

Happy Friday!

Just a few questions to answer for you...

Book tickets for the monument online (you can do this through the NPS website I think) I will ask Matt.

You can do so much on the Mall, it will keep you very busy, and I say a museum a day, or two, depending how interested you all are with museums...

Yes, yesterday was Rosh Hashanah... I have taken Monday off, and we have Tuesday as a day off for Elections. FOUR day weekend! :yay: By hook or crook I will FINISH my TR!!!!

Landscaping almost all finished. Planting a few more shrubs.... waiting for SOD to firm up a bit more, hard to mulch right now...

Oh I love your "where would you eat" game!!!! We have great ADRs at our favorite restaurants for Nov... I can't wait! BUT, if we were to consider going in May, I would have to really think about it!!!!

Okay going to read your new post now! :thumbsup2

CUTE post! I love the "trek" too. So neat all of the detailed theming in there... Looks like you all had some fun with the wildlife! ;) The Komodo Dragon always gives me goose bumps b/c I once saw a special where it shows them running (and how fast they actually move) and it totally freaks me out knowing they could actually "catch" something!!!!! :scared1:
