Here's my dilemma- DS (Aspbergers, SPD) and DD (typical with food sensory issues- lol) both LOVE Peanut butter sandwiches. JUST peanut butter, not jelly. Won't touch them with a 10 foot pole. I am worried that all PB sandwich choices at WDW are pre made such as an "Uncrustable" (which they hate- can't say I blame them- they are like a hockey puck of PB- gross).

Are there any restaurants that actually make a PB&J at WDW that we could order a PB no J at? Anyone have experience with this?

It's funny how something as small as this can have such an impact on a trip- but it can mean the difference between a meal time meltdown and two happy campers :) I have thought about just making my own and bringing them in each AM... but I am on vacation and if there are restaurants that can make one for them- all the better.

Their food "stuff" doesn't end there-lol DD only likes Kraft Mac-n-cheese (too bad missy) fortunately DS loves all mac-n-cheese (yay- lots of it at WDW). Neither like tomato sauce on their pasta- just butter- a pretty easy request at any restaurant I find IRL and at WDW (so yay- a win-win for us- lol). Both LOVE breakfast foods- yay- lots of Mickey waffles, french toast sticks, etc can be found all over at WDW- best character meals we go to are the breakfast ones b/c both my kids eat-lol. Pizza is a 100% everyone's favorite too- so I think if I can find some places that make PB minus J we will be set.

Help- anyone know?

I say yes, and this is my experience!

Went to MK to cheer dh in the Marathon... somehow that Sunday I was so early I got to the MK before 5:30AM - the monorail people said we could stay on the monorail and just go in circles till 5:30 or go to Contempory for coffee, etc - I went -

and I couldnt find anything for breakfast with protein - I had 2 white bread slices, and finally I asked if I could get peanut butter - she said yes, it was free at the check out counter!! :cool1: I have read that they used to put those peanut butter packets out, but too many people were grabbing and taking them, so now I guess you have to ask for them :confused3

They also have the toaster, so I toasted my bread, spread my peanut butter, and was very happy!

This was the counter service place - I'm sure other places do the same thing

Yes you can get PB only with bread but you would have to put it together yourself in the park anyhow.
I would suggest making a few PB sandwiches prior to going to the park for the day and bring them in. Saves time and time is money when you are at Disney!! Have a great time!

I know a few years ago I was able to buy 2 slices of bread in the Pop food court. It was only like .69 and they had peanut butter to put on it. I would ask to see if it was still available, but it was a wonderful cheap breakfast!
