Spin off of the funny stories about breakdown's thread- some of them mentioned being HAPPY they broke down at certain spots of rides.

Is there any specific spot of any specific ride that you WISH (or atleast wouldn't mind) the ride brokedown and you were left there for an extended period of time?

(I'm guessing no one would say IASW -- LOL)

Mine would probably be... Safari at AK. I think anywhere where you could see animals- it wouldn't bother me to be stuck there for an extended period of time. I'm not sure that "counts" as a ride that can breakdown though. LOL

So my 2nd choice would be... probably Buzz- as long as we (me and kids) were still able to point/shoot. I think it'd be the least boring to sit there while the ride was brokedown. LOL

I did break down on RnRC about five years ago!!! They shot us from 0-60 and right back to 0mph in like 3 seconds.. it was craazzyy. Then they had to turn on the lights and we had to get out of the cars and walk out of the ride! Seeing the inside of RnRC turned out to be one of the highlights of our trip! (Turns out, though, that Disney gets very anal when the lights go on inside the dark rides... they were very careful that all of us overly excited tourists weren't flashing our cameras! :earboy2: )

I got stuck on Buzz once. It was great although I didn't get 999,999 points (I did this once and have no idea how), I managed to get my second highest score of 638,000.

I would LOVE to get stuck in the Ballroom at the Haunted Mansion. I could sit there forever..... I would love to have to be walked out & get to see behind the scenes a little there....

Buzz Lightyear in the first room, close to the big orange robot.

I would love to get stuck:

1. Buzz (DH always beats my score, I'd like to try and max out for once!)

2. Peter Pan when you're flying over London (I know that's so pathetic but that scene is so cool! :teeth: )

We got stuck for a few minutes in the graveyard at Haunted Mansion. My girls weren't too thrilled about it (LOL), but I loved it! I kept looking around for Hidden Mickeys!

Be careful what you wish for about breaking down on the Buzz ride!

We were stopped for about two minutes on Buzz last May (sounds good so far, right?) However, we were in that room that has the spiral thing going around and around and around and around...it made me so sick! :crazy2:

DS loved it though!

Not that it's something that I would *want* to happen, but can you imagine getting stuck right before the drop on splash!!!! :hourglass

Anywhere in the Haunted Mansion would be fun and interesting to be stuck at.

I have a couple places I would love to break down.

1. In the middle of July when it is 100 degrees out I would love to break down on POTC right in the cave.

2. The ballroom in the Haunted Mansion. I just love to watch all the ghosts dance around.

3. Right at the top of the the big drop for splash mountain. It is so neat to see everything from up there.

But never never never would I want to break down in it's a small world. :rotfl2:

We got stuck in the middle of Big Thunder Mountain.......and the the fireworks were going off!! It was awesome!! :earboy2:

I would like to be stuck on HM at the ballroom, as long as it was just my doom buggy that was broken down and not the special effects. I never seem to have enough time to "see" everything in the ballroom.

I've been broken down on Buzz for quite a while and it was NOT fun! It was long enough that we all ran out of things to shoot at and it got boring! It's the only time I've ever been on Buzz, and it kind of took away from the experience for me. Next time I ride Buzz I'll have the kids with me so it will be a different experience, and hopefully will replace my bad memory of my first ride!

I'm not sure I'd like to be broken down on any ride! I could tolerate HM most of all I guess, because there is so much to see.

Yes be careful what you wish for...we broke down on the TTA for 40 minutes in december and although it was nice to look over tomorrowland- it was sooo cold :cold: That very same day, we also broke down for 20 minutes on buzz and the previous day, we broke down at the top of maelstrom for 15 minutes where it was climbing the hill at the beginning!

I'd love to break down on Dumbo long enough to watch wishes, that would be amazing! :cloud9:

The best place we were ever stuck was in World of Motion. It was the future room with cool lights and peaceful music.

I would like to break down either in the Renaissance scene in Spaceship Earth (LOVE the classical music that plays there), or at the very top where you're out in space looking back at the Earth.

We did break down once at the beginning of SE, right after you go up the first incline but before the animatronics appear. There are wavy blue and red lights being projected on the wall, and there is soft music playing; it's right where the narration usually begins. It's dark and you are still leaning back a little, and my DH and I were so comfy, we both fell asleep! When the ride started up again, we awoke to find my parents and DD in the seat in front of us looking back and laughing. But, boy, it was a nice place to rest for a few minutes!

We got stuck in haunted mansion overlooking the ballroom scene....there's so much going on in there, we always hope for it again. It's a great spot to stop and observe. Plus, now we have a digital camera, we want to attempt getting a picture! (probably impossible, but worth a try! :teeth: )
