Where on property can I get my Disney Visa rewards card?

I wanted to wait until we got to WDW to get my rewards card because I know there won't be enough time b/t when my statement closes and when we leave to receive the card. I don't currently have one, so I can't transfer my points onto it, I need to get a new card. I know I need at least $20 to get a new card, and I do.

My question is, I've read here on the boards you can go to guest services and they can call Chase and give you a card on the spot. Is it any guest services or only certain ones (is it only DTD or can it be done at one of the parks)?

I got mine at Guest Relations at DTD. They simply handed me an envelope with some instructions and the card inside. I had to call Chase and have the dollars transferred myself, they don't do that for you.

I imagine all the GR offices have the ability to do this.

Yep, just go to any of the park's Guest Services. Personally, I've picked up a card at the Studios and at Magic Kingdom.

Is it that you don't have the minimum (20 points) right now or that you're leaving very soon for vacation?

Yep, just go to any of the park's Guest Services. Personally, I've picked up a card at the Studios and at Magic Kingdom.

It's that we're leaving for vacation shortly after my statement closes and my vacation is on this last statement so i want to get the points from that several thousand dollar charge

Good to know it's not just DTD. I'm not sure if we're going to make it to DTD, so I really didn't want to have to run down there just to get the card.

So get the card at GR and call Chase myself. Thanks everyone!!

You can get the card now and add the extra points the day before you go. I have done that before.

They just add the points electronically online to the card you received in the mail.

A couple years ago I ordered my card from Chase and told them I didn't want the points on it yet. When I received the card, the points were already on it.

Last November I went to DTD guest services to get my card and when they gave it to me, they told me they had already put the points on it for me so I didn't have to call Chase.

You can get the card at Guest Relations at the parks, but you might want to call from the privacy of your hotel room when adding the points.

Guest Relations at Animal Kingdom gave me the card, but pointed me in the direction of a telephone at the end of the counter to make the call for transferring the points. When I tried to add the points over the phone, they asked me my mother's maiden name for security purposes. Unfortunately, they had entered the wrong information in their computer system. (Imagine, for example, that they insisted your mother's maiden name was Computer. Okay, it wasn't quite that bad, but close.)

So they started asking me other security questions. You don't want to be giving all that information out in a public place, where anyone could be listening.
