Where is your favorite spot to watch Illuminations from and why?

Our trip in May will be my one and only chance to watch Illuminations. We have been to the parks many times over the years and for some reason or other always had to leave Epcot before evening for Illuminations-weather, illness, work, it has just never worked out. We are taking a trip the first week in May for my son's graduation and I am determined to see Illuminations!!!!

Where is your favorite spot and why? We will be staying at Beach Club so will most likely exit out International Gateway but I am up for any extra walking/time necessary to get a great view.

Epcot is not my most familiar park so any extra details and around what time we need to secure our spot on a Sunday evening in early May would be great!!! THANK YOU in advance
