we watched once from that area near the walt & mickey statue, right in front of the castle, but found it way to crowded to be comfortable.

last year we watched from the steps at the main street train depot, and that worked out great, but we really lucked out with that spot. it seems to usually either be filled up, or roped off.

any other spots that you all might have where you like to go to watch the fireworks?

I like to watch them while riding the matterhorn...but then again you don't see the whole show but still cool.

I like to watch them while riding Haunted Mansion! :thumbsup2

:lmao:

Try a little further down mainstreet but not quite to the train depot. The castle area gets super crowded and unless you wait a while it is hard to get a lot of room. The fireworks are high up and you still see the castle in the background.

i like to watch them from the hub...although I have to get there a couple hours early so I can get a bench well more like 3 hours early..its the perfect spot and once they start it makes it worth the wait to watch the castle:lovestruc

We sat in a area sort of between matterhorn and tea cups and infront of IASM , As you sit you see fire works towards the castle and then also appear to come from toon town, not crowed at all ,and interesting to see from a different angle.

You know where I found the fireworks very nice was on Splash Mountian. The finale hit right when we were on top of the final drop and it was just a beautiful sight and then bam right down we went :) .

I have always loved main street until we stayed concierge at the Grand Californian Hotel. You get the music feed into the lounge and get a nice view from the lounge.

oh well, looks like they won't have fireworks when we are there, anyway (sept. 29th and 30th).

I just can't wait for Chistmas fireworks and the lights and the decorations, and the music, and.... oh my
