Where is the structure? Where are the employees?

The urinating while on the ride? Yea, I worked at Doom. And the tower wasn't even launched. It was filling the tanks, and the *guy* unzipped his pants and peed on the floor.

I've lost all hope for humankind while working at parks.

guess that trumps the other tales:scared: i keep thinking slip & fall:rotfl:

DSs friend worked @ another Orlando park's college program (it shall not be named:rolleyes1 ). i hear tell there are interesting security videos making the rounds as to certain (shall we say censored) activities on a various attractions (maybe that's why it's called the happiest place on earth - jk) probably just one of those urban legends. personally, i'm preoccupied with trying not to fall out of the ride vehiclepopcorn:: .

that certain parks' college dorm area - Vista Way - is nicknamed Vista Lay. even after park hours it's the happiest place on earth. ;)

:lmao: know she lived @ the dorms, i asked her where they were located...got a blank look. Said she didn't know the address:confused3 , the bus picked them up each morning.

Dude, a friend of mine at work was telling me about people he knew that worked there. Pretty much jives with the whole Vista Lay thing. He told me some other things that his friends did to the food... you'll never eat at the Disney buffets again.

Friend of a friend? Jeeze, sounds like I'm passing on some more UL's.

These stories are great. Keep them coming. Many people at parks just aren't stupid, they are jerks! Not name calling anybody, just stating my opinion! Every park trip my wife and I are constantly telling each other about the jerks we see.

the most sought-after icon of a WDW college program tour isn't a pair of mouse ears...it's a 'Vista Lay' t-shirt. you can drive into any WDW resort and get a three hour parking pass.

Vista Way is probably the most secure spot on WDW property. :)

Jealousy is a very strong emotion. US and IOA is Not Disney nor will it ever be. It will always be the lesser and inferior park. With incapable "employees"
"rides" that are down more often than up. No type or sense of service or commitment. It's not a Theme Park like the Magic Kingdom, it is an amusement park. For thrill rides only.

Disney World has attractions, not rides.
DW has Cast Members, trained and caring, not employees (TM)
DW has themes not, concepts.
DW has superior products and characters.

DW is far and away better in every category.

You US and IOA people are victims of WDW envy.

Let's make a point to just ignore the TROLL above and not respond. :goodvibes

Troll? What troll?? tropical depression isn't a troll. :confused3

No, not tropical depression.... the post immediately above mine by Nemo87, who started a new thread with the same exact post, which if I'm reading correctly, is already in the process of being locked.

What is the point of your posting this and what does it have to do with the topic on hand. If you don't care for Universal fine, but there is truly no need for this type of post.....

Oh, okay. Guess I was too busy ignoring the troll to notice someone posted between you & tropical depression. ;)

(Obviously, my obscure comedy was a bit too obscure.)

Right there with you Jodie and Barb! :thumbsup2

Yes, I am SO jealous of...

ummm...

...

...

... seriously, I'm trying to make sense of being jealous of a theme park that I visit almost yearly (pick one, I try to see them all). :confused3

Doesn't make sense to me, so I'll hit my own personal ignore button and let it go... :rolleyes1

And they wonder why we visit the "Disney" side of the boards and defend UO :rolleyes2

LOL, think it was a joke- you know, she's ignoring the post above? So the next post up in Tropical Depression- I may have that wrong though??

I agree- ignore the troll!! woooo love it!

You know what I'm jealous of? All those people who get to wait in those really long lines, and make reservations for their rides. Then, the best part is they get to ride a bus about 10-30 minutes to get to their hotels. Those guys have all the luck.
And here I'm stuck being done with a park by 3, walking to my hotel...or having to take that stupid boat. And I'm also stuck with all the mind blowing themeing and immersive surroundings. God, I am so miserable. Those disney guys......what luck they have.:wizard:

I know. I am very sorry I did not get the joke right away. Just showing my age.
