Where is the new Vacation Planner?

We got ours 3 weeks ago and we also felt like it was a waste for both of us to have one.

You must have two separate contracts with your name on one or first on one and your husband's first on the other. We get two copies of everything.

I got mine today. Very anticlimatic. I liked the points only chart they gave us last year. I don't need to know about the ins and out of banking/borrowing etc., but it would be nice to have the list of amenities and kitchen contents. Someone asked about it on the VGC thread and the ONLY place I was able to find the kitchen list was in the 2010 planner.

No. Its not that. My name is first on all contracts. The reason is that he and I have different last names on the contract. We bought in before we were married and I never had my name changed because of the hassle.

Got ours this week in Nebraska. I am in the camp of liking the new format. I can look up all the rules at dvcmember.com, but I really do prefer to have a book on my lap to quickly flip the pages and compare resorts at a glance.

Got mine today.

It does look only half-done by Disney publishing standards. Lots of blank space, and the blank space was not intended for visual effect.

But I'm glad to have the info. Sometimes its easier to get a feeling for various point usage going through printed books.

Ours came yesterday in SoCal. We like having the planner. My daughter and grand daughter opened the envelope and haven't stopped looking through it planning future trips. We give our old ones away to folks who are Disney people.

got ours yesterday in Maryland

Mine came today here in Georgia. Quite honestly it's nothing to get excited about.

Still waiting in South Texas. Why bother, unless they have lots of extra money to spend on this?

You know, I think I saw mine last week. Now where did I put it?? I remember it seemed really "skimpy". Hummm...:confused3

Got mine in PA yesterday and I agree with the above poster - it IS skimpy.

Received points book for 2011/2012 Thur in IL. Will there be another book coming out as well this year?

Hello Fellow Illinoisan -
News from the member meeting reported that we would get the points charts every year, early in the year, and the the rest of the planning info later this "spring" and then every other year after that. popcorn::
