Where is the closest Publix

[MELSMICE]

When we arrive we are going to make a grocery stop. We know where the Winn Dixie is on 535 but I'm wondering where the nearest Publix is. I have heard that Publix has better prices. If it's just as convenient & as close as Winn Dixie I'll go there instead.

Does anyone know where the closest one is? Thanks in advance!

Is that the same one by the Premium Outlets? That's the one we always go to......its in a pretty quiet location and has never been busy when we've gone. It's very convenient to WDW.

I like the one near the Premium Outlets. I think it's the newest and it's a very nice supermarket.

Could someone please post directions to the Publix by the Premium Outlets? How long of a drive from DTD?

http://allearsnet.com/pl/directions.php - select any Epcot resort and it will give you driving directions from MCO that include two different grocery stops, one of which is to the Publix across from the Premium Outlets Mall. I think the MK resorts might list that grocery stop too but I'm not sure.

I second the one by the Premium Outlets......... this one is very nice, well stocked, good prices, and a great place to shop. I was quite impressed, ecspecially after running into so many other places only to find out their shelved were empty!

Sorry. I did not see this thread until this morning.

From DD, head down Hotel Plaza Blvd. Turn right on 535. Go under the I 4 underpass. Turn left on Vineland. (There will be a Bahama Breeze Restaurant on this corner.)
Go down about 3/4 mile you will see the LBV Premium Outlets. Just past is the new Publix Store.
Publix is open from 7 am til 10 pm. 7 days a week.
