Sometimes my head gets banged around and other times it doesn't. I read somewhere on this site that it doesn't bang around that much if you sit at the_________ of the ride....now I can't find it please help.

The best place to sit is toward the front... for us, preferably the front seat... great view!

RnR is one of our favorites--dd and I will ride it all day!

Yes, the front seems to be smoother than the back. I remember my neck was bothering me after riding in the back seats.

Don't go in the back. I was in the very last row and oh my goodness. It was my first time on it and boy, was I in for a surprise. :earseek:

I am finding that as the years go on RnRc is getting a bit "less smooth". It could be the ride getting older and it could be me getting older!! I remember my first few rides when it first opened and I thought it was very smooth compared to others I have been on. Keeping in mind that we are wooden coaster fans - smooth is relative.

I prefer the front and find it much more smooth and I like the overall feeling better. The back can seem a bit faster but I also find it more rough. I like any seat in Space Mountain and definately prefer the back on BTMR much more fun! Last trip I had to take my post earrings out when I rode a second time, the first time the backs were smashing into my head.

RnR - Front

Tip: For SM ride in the last seat....only if you like air time !! :goodvibes

I was in the very front and my head didn't get banged around. I love being in the front like that, you feel like you're the only one on the ride. :teeth:

We have ridden in both the front and the back, but really prefer the back. The reason is when the coaster "takes off" you really feel the 0-60 mph speed much more intensely in the back. I LOVE that feeling. I Wish I was about to take off with AeroSmith right now!! :rockband:

The front is smoother and really fun but the back is my favorite. As someone above me said, you get that feeling when you take off much better when you're in the back :smooth:
