OK, so I'm looking for the best french toast at WDW for breakfast. I have actually made the puffed french toast from Crystal Palace (found a recipe online at All Ears) as well as the Tonga Toast from Kona Cafe (also a recipe from All Ears). Both were fantastic!!

Besides Crystal Palace and Kona Cafe (which I read about all the time), what other restaurants have really good french toast for breakfast? Has anyone had the french toast that is listed on the Garden Grove weekday breakfast menu? It's banana-stuffed french toast with raspberry preserves and covered in corn flakes. It looks good, but wondering how it really is. Any other restaurants to consider? The 2 character breakfasts we are already going to are 1900 Park Fare and Cape May Cafe. I also booked a breakfast at Crystal Palace before park opening, but we are also booked for dinner and will probably do the dinner, but still not really sure.

Go straight for Wolfgang Puck Express... Crispy Cornflake French Toast :lovestruc

Crispy Cornflake French Toast - served with seasonal fruit

OMG, this looks soooooo good! We just might have to do that! I'm going to look for a recipe for this too!

Yeah, it's on my list to try as well. I haven't had it yet, but I was also searching the boards for the best CS breakfast & I fount this post.

So thanks to dizneeat for posting it!! :)

I haven't tried this one yet, but I'm hoping to sometime! It's from the Grand Floridian Cafe..

Maple-Vanilla French Toast - Challah Bread dipped in Maple and Vanilla flavored Batter with Bacon or Sausage $10.99

Sounds SO good! :goodvibes

Grand Floridian Cafe has some amazing Maple-Vanilla French Toast. It was the best French Toast I have ever had. Maple syrup is poured into the batter that you dip the bread in and you get the hint of real vanilla. It is so yummy!

We've only had the Tonga Toast at Kona and we LOVED it!! We're just not big breakfast eaters and when we do eat it, it's usually not something sweet. This was however, VERY good!!:thumbsup2

I have had the one at WGP & Kona. Nothing in the world comes close to Kona & it's Tonga Toast :thumbsup2

I saw this heavenly creation on the Disboards menu last week and it moved the GF Cafe to the head of the must try list!

Anyone know if they serve this same french toast on the buffet at 1900 Park Fare? We have a breakfast ADR there one morning, mainly for the characters though.

1000% agree...Wolfgang Pucks!!! I dream about it. I can't wait to have it again. :surfweb:

Wow that french toast from WPE looks awesome! Never been there, but I love the puffed french toast at Crystal Palace...even if it IS in the kids section! ;)

I personally like the Cream Cheese French Toast they serve at CRT breakfast, but that is some expensive french toast!!

Tonga Toast is fabulous as well, especially with the strawberry puree they serve with it at Kona Cafe.

I had this for breakfast last year and it was totally delicious. :teeth: DH ordered something else, and he was completely happy with it until he tasted my French toast. :rotfl: We're going back there for breakfast on our next trip so that I can get it again and he can order his own. If you'd like to see pictures of it (and/or read the review), it's in the link in my signature below.

The french toast I've had at PF hasn't resembled what anyone has commented on from GF Cafe.
