Where is the air conditioning in the Animal Kingdom?

Yes, we are Coloradians, so we aren't used to the humidity. I know of several spots where we can cool down in the other parks, but what about Animal Kingdom? I'm guessing that ITTBAB is air conditioned, but I remember the waiting area being really hot last time (Nov.) and I have a child who is petrified of bugs. I can't think of any other places to cool off, other than Rainforest Cafe, which we have visited at several other locations. Can you fill me in on any air conditioned shows, or is this really a "tough it out" park??

Honestly, I'd love it if there was a list of air conditioned sites for all of Disney online somewhere, lol. Does such a thing exist?

The Dinosaur ride is all AC'd but besides that and ITTBAB I can't think of anything else.

I would think that Festival of the Lion King has AC. Can't remember much else though. Get one of those personal fans. I saw some at walmart today.

The place at the end of the train ride is also AC'ed .

But nothing cools you better then Kali

Hi Maria!

You could take a long lunch break and eat at Rain Forest Cafe. Service there is rather slow, which is actually good when you are using lunch as your mid-day break. (Edited to add that although you've eaten at RFC at other locations, it is still the longest a/c break you may find at AK, unless you hop a bus to AKL and eat at Bomas).

Tusker House CS meal is airconditioned. The waiting area at ITTBAG is air, but if you have a child that is scared of bugs do not take them. Dinosaur is, and Festival of the Lion King, I think that is about all though.

Some of the shops are also a/c'd. We are from Colorado as well and DW and I know what you mean about the humidity! We've found that doing some shopping or even walking through some of the shops on the way to somewhere else helps a little bit. Don't forget your hats and sunscreen! And power that water down all through the day. We always keep bottles on us to stay hydrated. You'll still sweat like pigs but at least you won't get heat stroke.

Pizzafari and Restaurantosaurus are A/C'ed.

While we were waiting for Primeval Whirl, it was nice and cool in the line.

Thanks everyone for all your replies! We were there last Nov. during a heat wave, and I don't remember feeling air conditioning anywhere! The restrooms and the Lion King show were both especially hot. I'm greatful to have a list of places to cool off.
