Where Is My Grilled Cheese?

1) There is a Grilled Cheese stand near Test Track.
2) The sandwiches are pretty tasty and come with a small salad or soup (and just under $9).
3) Some people have said it was closed when they went to try it.
4) The scoop is . . .
. . . it typically closes at 6:00pm
. . . it will also close if the booth temperature is at/over 100º
5) Hope this helps for those disappointed to not having the sandwich and soup/salad.

NOTE: Even though booths are air conditioned, this one has a very large service window, so the A/C escapes and the booth gets hot, It is unsafe to work in the both at 100ºF, so they close it down.

We tried to get one a couple of times during the week we were there in April. Temp was in the 80s and we tried around noon and late afternoon both days. It was locked up without any sign posting hours of operation.

But, it might have still gotten to 100º inside the booth.

We had the same experience. Not a huge deal, we just went somewhere else, but I did want to try it. I guess the temps got too high. If the temps are getting too high in April, how are they going to sustain this booth in July.

I agree w/PP. If they are going to close with temp. in the low 80s outside (and not stay open after 6:00) then they will not be open too often in the upcoming months. Not a big deal for us either but my daughter was disappointed.
